Nice video T. I had to have the clutch replaced on my 271 shortly after i got it new. The manual said to engage the chain break before starting. I started it up and the engine raced and seized the clutch up. Last time i follow directions to the Tee.

I work at a stihl dealer. Couldn’t tell yah how many ms170s we just have laying around that need work. The labor rate and parts costs out weighs the price of just buying a new one so customers just leave their old ones. Nice when people can fix them themselves. I mean hey I should be able to make a few good ones out of them all.

I own a 3038e and it’s been great. I’ve only overheated once and that was after several hours of tough brush hogging. All it needed was to have the radiator blown out. 45 minutes sounds too soon to be overheating but if you were brush hogging in nasty stuff it could clog your radiator pretty quick. A good solution is to position the bucket directly in front of the radiator so whatever your brush hogging doesn’t hit right against it. Plus as a rental that size all it’s used for is brush hogging. They’re prob not cleaning radiator each time. Don’t give up on John Deere just yet, they’re the best.

Oil filter they might… I know it can cross over to other brands. The fuel water separator I doubt they will. For it you may have to get it from Amazon or a local mower store.

Nice video! I have the same model number and it is not completing the spinning cycle leaving all clothes soaked…what could it be?
@LivingOutHere
@LivingOutHere 4 ай бұрын
From what I have found with some research is the following: The most common reasons your Kenmore washer is not spinning are a malfunctioning electronic control board, broken motor or a jammed door lock assembly. Hope this helps you out and would love to hear what fixes it. If it was me I would start at the cheap parts like the lid lock and then try to determine if it was the motor or control board. Also you may want to try running it empty to see if it wobbles a lot and is the suspension for the drum.

I’m looking at a jd 430 with a loader for $5500. I’m concerned they don’t have good traction in snow and dirt. Do you like your 430 with the loader and do you have traction issues? Thanks
@LivingOutHere
@LivingOutHere 4 ай бұрын
Traction is sort of an issue but with wheel weights and rear ballast it does good. I have videos of moving snow with no wheel weights and moving dirt. It makes it easier with the weights but you can still get it done without them.

Mine actually has the rear signal indicator failure when I put the new harness on it. Any idea why it’s failing?
@LivingOutHere
@LivingOutHere 5 ай бұрын
It could be a wire in the loom. Have to tested all the lights? And have you unplugged the harness from the truck and reconnected it? Also you could try to disconnect the battery for 5 mins and reconnect it to see if it clears the code / fault. I am curious to see what works for you.
