Looks cool! Have you thought about attaching tarp with wiggle wire to remove when collecting birds for harvest?

Its got a nice latch that you can lift up, and walk inside. The other video i did shows what it looks like when you got birds and you open the hatch.

What do you do to keep varmints from digging underneath and killing all your chickens?
@StefanoCreatiniКүн бұрын
There is an electrical wire that shocks them, no varmint issues at all.

I love it as well!, Just need a neighbor with welding skills to help me build one!
@insAneTunA2 күн бұрын
@@StefanoCreatini For jobs like this you really do not need a whole lot of special welding skills. And those MIG welders are not crazy expensive either. If the weld doesn't look nice and flat you are going too fast, and if going slower doesn't improve the weld you need the crank up the power. And after doing some practice welds you get the feel of it. And if you screw it up you can always grind it with an angle grinder.
@StefanoCreatiniКүн бұрын
Good to know, ill look at some welding youtube videos. I can probably rent a MIG welder too

@@StefanoCreatini I like the coup and the ingenuity, but how he does it for less than 300 dollar is a mystery to me. 20 hours of labor at 15 dollar per hour is already 300 dollar. And that doesn't include the tools, all the materials, the consumables, the costs of energy, and such.

Green house in the snow kits are similar but not close to this design. Lots of custom features like the passive earth tubes vs running earth tubes with a powered fan. Angle of the glass are altered, not a fixed pitch like a kit.

“When you’re around this green all year, you don’t have to fly to Mexico.” Exactly. Vacationing is kind of funny…. You can take a vacation wherever you are. Why not where your heart and soul is?

Okay yeah this may technically be considered high desert but this is farm land. I own 40 acres in the high desert I don’t have a pond or any water so to speak. Definitely no drainage ditch flowing water for at least 100 miles. If I want a well it’s $10k plus per attempt. No guarantee you actually hit water. I know people that had to try two or three times. The only water we have is rain. And it’s rare.
@StefanoCreatini20 сағат бұрын
That sounds way harder than what Jake is dealing with. The principles still apply, it just takes longer for results

Right off the bat I wouldn’t call that high dessert. I feel like that it’s clickbait. But I’ll wait til the end to comment again.

I think he said that he had planted some Eastern Red Ceder in his hedge. Last year I cut down dozens of those around my property after finding out they carry a disease that causes apple, pears and some other types of trees to get that fungus which eventually kills the trees. I'd been perplexed why so many of my trees were declining and dying year after year. So far some of my damaged fruit trees seem to be doing better this year.
