Might be a good idea if every cruising yacht that stopped by took a big bag of plastic with them as a token of the hospitality they've been shown on the island.

Didn’t that Australian guy that did all those nature shows get killed by a manta-ray or something like that? Oh yeah. Steve Irwin, an Australian zookeeper, conservationist, and television personality known as "The Crocodile Hunter", was killed by a stingray on September 4, 2006 while filming in the Great Barrier Reef. The stingray's barb pierced Irwin's chest, penetrating his heart and thoracic wall, causing massive trauma. Irwin was videotaped pulling the barb from his chest moments before losing consciousness. Paramedics were flown to his boat by helicopter to treat him, but they were unable to revive him. So I guess yeah, if one stings you with a barb in the heart just remember not to remove it before searching for professional help.

We appreciate your concern, but it's important not to jump to conclusions. The ATM receipt was dropped in the rubbish bin directly underneath the ATM, not on the ground. @SailingOneLife6 күн бұрын
Hi Darcee! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed this one. Maybe it wasn't clear in the video but no money was exchanged for the coconut, just people being kind to us, because like you said there is no money on the island. When we were in the main city of Tonga, the same coconut would have been sold to us for a couple bucks.

It puts things in prospective. For some a new IPAD is a niceish gift, for others something as simple as a socker ball (foot ball), brings amazing pleasure, and more excitement, and will leave great memories. thanks for taking us along. The sailing stuff, diving stuff, fishing stuff if great, but the interactions with the people of the world is the BEST, and shows that it doesn't take a 100k job to be happy. Thanks again for letting us look over your shoulders.
