Okay I just cooked my first-ever ButcherBox brisket following Yankel's excellent directions, and it turned out great! I did have to make a few minor modifications, including the use of tomato sauce instead of tomato paste, and mango-orange juice as opposed to apricot nectar... but the flavor was outstanding. I did however, make one major change to his recipe, based on what I read in the comments: I only cooked the brisket in the Dutch oven for two hours at 325 instead of his recommended four hours. I did this because I didn't want the roast to be dry or overcooked. The way I see it is you can always put it back in the oven if needed, but once it's overcooked you'd better get out the catsup and chalk it up to a learning experience. If you're wondering, my brisket had a point. It was not flat like Yankel's.

Milford, Connecticut is the home of the Hot Butter Lobster Roll.. It started in a place called Perry's in 1929 until they closed in 1977. The 7 Seas which opened in 1965 has ran with the torch since the closing of Perry's and yes you can go out and get the lobster rolls better than the ones you did.. never cut the claw meat.. leave the huge pieces

They're all uniform color across the width. He must have water bathed them or maybe baked them with a thermometer to get his temperatures.

it’s better to brush/season both sides as it carmelizes both sides of the bacon. also flip about 10 minutes through. try it and reply how it was!

The meat you're thawing in trickling water is sealed inside plastic. So what difference does it make if "bacteria doesn't grow in moving water" make? There is no movement inside the package of meat. Well, let's hope not anyway.
