There are only two movies that make me cry every single time I watch it: "The Green Mile" and this one. Every. Single. Time. Now, if you'll excuse me. I'm gonna go find a tissue.

_"Look deep, Josh, it's there. It's twelve moves away but it's there. You've got him. Take his pawn with your pawn. G takes f6, forking his bishop and rook. Don't take back with your bishop, you'll need that to guard e7. He'll take back, either with his bishop or his night. When he does - this is the hard part - sacrifice your rook: capture him on f6 and get him to check. King has to take your rook, he takes f6. Give him the knight to check e7, forking his king and his rook. He'll move to safety; King f5. Take his rook with your knight. He'll take back with his king and you've got him. Don't move until you see it....Don't move until you see it....Don't move until you see it.... "_

RUSSEL CROWE treated harshly by the OSCAR in the BEST ACTOR plum for the year. He was a runaway surefire winner. Did the OSCAR members just meant friends, that's it. And not to bother have a thorough scrutiny!!!

Such a brilliant actor. Think of the roles Russel Crowe has played and excelled at portraying. Whatever you think of the man personally not admitting this would be churlish and petty.

I MAY NEVER BE THERE..................BUT DEFINITELY ON THE WAY TO THERE...............WITH ALL MY DEMONS AND TRIBULATIONS WALKING ALONGSIDE ME, .................................BUT WHAT REMAINS THE SECRET THOUGH IS ,THE INFINITE & TREMENDOUSLY ILLUMINATING LIGHT AHEAD WHICH IS GUIDING, WHICH TELLS ME NOT TO GIVE UP, EVEN IN THE FACE OF THE STRONGEST DEMON & TRIBULATION.....................ITS NOT ABOUT BEING THERE,.....................ITS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU GET THERE. PERIOD.

I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia when i was 18, though i never heard voices or saw things that weren’t there. i was re-diagnosed as Bipolar years later. i am 39 now and have been suicidal for most of my life. i have been taking Psilocybin mushrooms for the past 3 years and i finally feel like i felt before my mental illness started 25 years ago. it’s time to legalise Psilocybin and liberate all the beautiful minds of the world because the world needs people like us who see the world differently and who have the potential to save humanity from itself. Free the Mind, Free the World. One People. One Earth. One Love. Aloha

He was 66 when he received the Nobel Prize and his wife was 61 years old. And they make her look in this scene as if she was into her late 90s! Well... by the time they did this movie, being 30 years old was already "too old to even have kids". People used to marry at 22, 25 tops! Then you found them all of them at 29 divorced.

I have lived with schizophrenia for twenty years. A lot of what happened in my life was similar to what John went through (I see and hear things that are not real). I also now make the decision to ignore what I can but the fact is, that is my reality. To discover that a friend of 15 years does not exist was heartbreaking for me but a relief at the same time as I received medication to combat the illness. Mental illness does get swept under the carpet. I have people close to me that still suggest that I should just “get over it”. In other pop culture, Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20 wrote a song called unwell. It sums up my life to a t. This is not a rant, nor a pity party. Everyone’s reality is different and whatever yours is, try to enjoy every step of the journey. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
