Well at the time we were allowed to fly only in the public area with the supervision from 7:30 to 8:00 so not sure how the restrictions changed. Most resorts don’t allow or have dedicated areas these days.

Very nicely done and detailed video. As a former CEO of a global advertising agency, I traveled extensively. I always made it a point to stay at an Oberoi if the opportunity presented itself. My favorite Oberoi property is at Agra by the Taj Mahal. Spectacular hotels.

Yes, you basically take a sea plane, which is additional 400$ plus minus, once you land in Male (it is a small airport) either they will wait for you directly at the exit or you go to universal resorts kiosk (there is a huge area with resort kiosks in the front of exit ) and then they will take care of everything, they will escort you to the seaplane check in which is like 1 minute walk from the exit, they will take you on a bus to the seaplane terminal which takes about 5 minutes and they will escort you to the lounge or to the gate and you wait for the seaplane. Have fun 🤩

Yes, I think so. It was very exclusive and you will get lost. There is a very few villas on the island and you hardly meet anyone. It’s very private so I think you will have a great Maldivian experience. I would say if the child is older like 3plus you would rather look for some more family resorts. L

Depends, the big 3 in Italy is Rome, Venice and Florence. Then you have more localized stuff like the big lates, 5 villages, Tuscany, Puglia, Sicily, Amalfi, Dolomites, and a lot more. If you have never been to Italy, then Rome is the first thing to see, followed by Venice and there is a big space and the third is Florence. I would say Venice could be even more beautiful than Rome but Rome is Rome, it has such historical value you just have to cross it off your list firsts, once you have seen the big ones you go the regions. It’s like going to the states and seeing the Acadia National park before actually seeing the big ones like Yosemite or New York.

It just seems so incredibly tranquil there ~ more so than Rome etc. Plus the beaches. I'd prefer to visit here & fly to Rome & stay 2 days then return to puglia .. Tuscany sounds great too. So much to see

Hmm, monsoon season. We have extensive experience with that. Yes and no, if you don’t have any other choice than it’s not so bad. It will rain but not all day every day you will get sunshine and rain. Mostly in the afternoon it rains but you will not be able to plan much as you will normally have only mornings. Sri Lanka is divided into two parts and during the monsoon season in Mirissa, there is dry season in Aguram Bay. Furthermore it’s normally overcast a lot so the weather changes a lot it rains and then there is sun and it rains it comes and goes in waves. Also, during the monsoon season, there is not much beach exposed in Ahangama and anawatuna the beach gets really narrow during the rainy season so weligama would be a better place to stay.

@@peterkapusi5882 for us it would be big enough for 20 days. Again you are in Paris, normally Paris has extremely small rooms just like NYC. There was a big double closet for all stuff.

Yes, we got a wristband and could eat and drink whatever, the issue for me was that there is not a la carte in the afternoon and only the main restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner only. There is so called snack at 17:00 but it’s just a small sandwich that was available in the pool bar.

@@hamoenakh1398 yes there was a closet for hanging clothes not a huge one but a normal size closet and there is a quite a big space top for the luggage next to bed. Maybe visible on the vlog as well.

Been there 2 years ago it was amazing place plus you can island hop to the next island or another but go to Dubrovnik for the day and go around the game of thrones wall the view is amazing and the place is amazing to .

There was a time the Martinique wasn’t so luxurious.under the mayor Koch project me and my family spent 7 years in that Hotel in the 80’s and it was more like a state penitentiary.lots of terrible memories from That place I’m glad we survived because some folks didn’t I remember that entrance stairwell by the front elevator we would carry groceries to the tenth floor because the front elevators were never working we would lift are mothers foldable shopping cart and it would take us hours we were only children.also there was a rule to never go past the 11th floor because most violent residents lived beyond the security guards never went past the 11th only the NYPD but it’s so very nice to see it has been revived I would love to take my wife and son so they can see how far I’ve come I never thought I would have made it to where I am today God blessings and thanks for this video a Big Like 👍🏽 from me.

@@Crystallina-ep3tr I guess it is very individual, this resort in my opinion is one of the larger resorts therefore, it churns a lot of people and certainly it is not a one on one experience such as in the super deluxe resorts. However, it offers a great value for the budget, but it comes at a price as not everyone will get a 5 star experience. ❤️🌴

You will always find people that have bad experiences anywhere they go. Me and my wife loved this place so much we booked a few days from returning home. Only 53 days til we return. The staff the all inclusive and most of all the island itself is just amazing. There aren't many negative reviews I found and most had nothing to do with island itself I found. Honestly just paradise 😁👍
