I just ordered this welding machine on amazon yesterday, should i use 6013 rods? or is there any specific that are better for this machine
@jackofalltrades7822
@jackofalltrades7822 2 күн бұрын
@@tavor7248 6013 are a non structural rod with a low tensile strength. A lot of people use them because they are easy to use but I they are intended as a root weld rod to be covered with a 7018 or similar rod. The machine will weld any of them so your rod selection should be based on the steel thickness your welding, and the strength needed.

I bought this lift kit for my trailer with the tall gate that I need help lifting due to age and back. I have installed several lift assists on other trailers for relatives and myself and I was willing to try this cheaper version. I also had to get better bolts but the ones they sent were 3" long and I only need 1" length. The installation was not smooth but I got through it because of prior knowledge, certainly not the written directions. I also only installed one side due to previous experience. When i pulled the gate down the first time the clamp that holds the loop on the cable broke away. Since I had an additional one I was able to disassemble and replace the cable from the extra one, thinking it was maybe a fluke with the other one. However the same thing happened with the second cable, disconnnected from the clamp at the hook and the gate fell. Do you know if there is a return policy for this or do I suck it up and go get cable clamps at Lowes?
@jackofalltrades7822
@jackofalltrades7822 2 күн бұрын
@@harveyalmarode I don’t know the return policy but I have had no issues with any of the parts including the clamps. If it was me, I would just go get cable clips at Lowe’s for $0.50 each. Thanks for watching.

I was researching these 2 guns for about 1 month and after carefull consideration went with the m&p because the keltec has plastic linkage and has been known for feeding issues. I love kel tec for a lot of reasons i love the pmr 30 i love the p17 both great.. i was genuinely sad to ha e to run with the s&w but woth the price point you get 2 more mags and i have put appx 700 rounds through it with zero issue's. The exra 150 pays for a signifigant amount of higher quality and two magazines . Also the locking mechanism on the fpc is bigger and etc. It seems way more durable and strong.

I believe this is a TX22 Compact which is not the same as the TX22. The TX22 does mot have the ability to add a reflex, bur new model coming this year for reflex. But I like the vid!
@jackofalltrades7822
@jackofalltrades7822 18 күн бұрын
This is not a compact. The reflex sight can be added the Standard TX22 but you have to remove the rear sight and install and adapter plate from a third party to use the reflex. You can see the red adapter plate below the sight. I talk about it at the 7:00 min mark. This is the same TX22 that I reviewed the year before. To your point, the TX22 compact does allow for mounting a reflex as do several other versions like the TX22 Competition. Thanks for watching.

With the shelter half…. You dont use tentpoles of the same height…. You want to use poles that are half height…. Maybe even less …. Ive seen shelters that use two of your three at the head…. And one at the feet making a asymmetrical plow point shelter ‘\ sort of like this from the side except the angles are not as steep …. In basic training we had a drill sgt who would take us down to the rainy day shed on sunday after noon and we would have brainstorming classes on ways to improve our shelters …. He showed us multiple variation of the one panel shelters. He also showed us ways to use a third section to give ourselves an insulated floor using leaves , adding a rain guard by draping the third panel over top the tent, even using a fifth tarp between two complete tents to provide an improved vestibule. He also showed us how the tarp can be used as a blanket over top of the sleeping bag to hold in heat better when in squad tents

Last season in Alabama I took a great shot at 170 yards, I was pretty sure I hit the buck in the vitals, just behind his left shoulder low and quartering away, he jumped and ran to my left then changed direction and ran back to my right and into the woods. I was pretty sure I hit him. Yet no blood, no hair, nothing. We looked for him into the night , still found no signs. Two days later I found him, and it made me sick. I hunt for meat, not for sport, so a wasted animal makes me feel horrible.
