So it will do with any headset specifically meta or oculus idk why but what u do is wait for it to detect that its still on or wait about 2hours so it dies. Btw this is called hardlocking.

What I would like, something cheap for people who want to dip there toes into the world of VR (doesn't matter if it is Fresnel lenses), and something that can serve as an actual upgrade from the Quest 2. As in, something that can deliver the visual clarity of Quest 3 using much better lenses at a cost between the cheap one and the ludicrous Quest 3 price.

Releasing a Quest 3 Lite is going backwards. It's a waste of resources and money. The hardware needs to get better, not worse.

I just want them to make another OLED screened headset. Original Quest is really showing it's age now. I have my Beyond for PCVR but I'd like a new standalone for Beat Saber, Pistol Whip, 11TT and immersive KZfaq videos.

Well... i actualy use oculus rift still. I got it when i was about 5😅

I made my own fan but instead of pushing air into the goggles it sucks air out and no dry eyes, works great. I have the bobo2 headset and bought the conversion to quest 3. sent my Q2 back a week after using it due to problems and ended up buying the Q3. I have yet to see any of these that sucks the air out but mine works great and the fan is super quiet.

Question we all want to know. Can it kill a healthy person if set to 100 and vicious levels of shooting.

The different price points in VR should just be: • 150$ • 300$ • 500$ • 750$ • 1000$ • 1500$ • 2000$ Apple Vision Pro is overpriced.

They need price tiers on their headsets. You need a budget to get people to try. That is why my first one will be a Pico 4. I will mostly be doing PCVR so I don't have to worry about the Pico 4 having a smaller library. If I am still doing VR in a year, I will look at more expensive headsets.

I have never wanted the photo realistic avatar for quest. Cant see the Need for it. I use VR to escape reality not bring reality into it.

The stylus looks great. Seems at least twice as expensive as it should be though. After all, a complete single controller for the Q3 is 75 bucks.

So having had a "sim racing channel" in the past, Jay. It never occurred to me before hearing your comment that you made from the 2:39 min mark. And that is that META should be treating it the way you buy cars (brands) in real life. Simply meaning that they should (in car terms) have a BASIC / LUXURY / & SPORTS Models in VR Headsets. With the SPORTS in my own mind, being a FULLY TETHERED PC-VR Headset for all those dedicated Sim Racing & Flight Sim aficionado's out there in PC-VR land?. Your comment makes total sense to me, but will it end up making sense to META?. That is the big question???

Now it is $45 which is much cheaper than most 3rd party straps now since the quest 3 is out honestly really nice

It looks like Samsung won't be doing a VR headset because Samsung unpacked on July 10th, and all the leaks have been out well for their watches, but there is nothing about VR, so my money will be going to the new Quest 3 Lite.

Other phones have great camera tech for stereoscopic media creation like Oppo, Samsung, and Sony.

They should cancel the Quest Pro 2. It will fail like the first one did. They should focus on more important stuff.
