Love the install. Wish GM would get off their duff and finish the upfitter package for the AT4 and Denali 2024 trucks. They have it for the non AT4/Denali trims. Also slightly disappointed (wasn't a deal breaker) that an $88K HD truck doesn't come with upfitters from the factory.

Aluminum lock body seems like an inherent design flaw. With how heavy and strong everything else is, that lock body should be hardened steel ... otherwise it's probably done for in under a minute with a small 12v drill. Or heck, you could split the lock body with any of a dozen methods if it's just aluminum...i'm thinking a wedge and a few good slams with a mallet even.

Those wires in the kick panel are usually for PTO functions.. that white tag labels what each one gets hooked to on the Mucnie harness (PTO) the only place to hook into your upfitter switches are the blunt cut wires coming out of the small relay box under the hood that also should had a white tag labeling what colors do what.

We've had several Airstreams and we love our Flying Cloud Bunk. But Airstream is very slow to innovate in some interesting areas. For example, awning lights. Sure, they have LED strip lighting, but you have to have the awning extended to use it. We also have a Winnebago Travato which has the awning light strip such that you can use it extended or not. Airstream also does not have Bluetooth enabled AC units like the Travato. If I were by myself, I'd definitely consider a Bambi. Not sure if the bed would be big enough for me. I'm only 5'-9", but that bed looks pretty small.

I understand the desire to try and route that wire in a clean way in the engine compartment, but all I could think about was what happens the first time the truck needs any work that involves removing the fenders, grill, radiator, etc. The service techs will cut that wire in about two seconds flat and if you're lucky they'll "kinda" put it back together when they are done.

As a 2025 Thor/KZ Durango Gold owner, I urge caution! Our fifth wheel has several major issues that KZ has not fixed. Their "quality" is not what we were expecting. Their "two year warrenty" has yet to be proven. Their warrenty department seems bent on saving pennies and customers be damned!

My 2020 350 Dually has up fitter wires (didn’t know initially) inside below the glove box behind the kick panel. If you haven’t highly encourage you check.

Your truck is amazing! IMHO I would remove them. The reason is they do not coincide with your rear wheel fenders and it does clash. Your statement about the front fenders looking like there is a gap is correct. Keep up your videos, I enjoy them!

That was painful to watch. You realize that you can buy an adapter that fits into your review mirror wiring that puts out 5v and 12v for these rearview mirrors, radar detectors etc? No unnecessary tie ins to your upfitters no need to run extra outlets.

Be nice to have an option not to have the bunks but a table that converts to a bed.

They would not be bad if they had a composite floor. They go through the expense of an all aluminum frame. Then they cheap out on the floor.

The fact that a metal chassis is relying on attached structures for stability and strength is what I heard. Why would anyone allow something that is designed to fail to be on the road? Like he said, it may be something as simple as hitting a limb. Why would that have and effect on the structural stability of the frame? It seems that neither the frame builder or the RV builder want to take responsibility for the failures. It has to be one or the other, but he seems to be saying that it is a combined failure. This company build these to contract specs from the manufacturer. How many of the chassis are deemed "out of spec" during the build process? I highly doubt that 100% pass, but I bet they still get sent out the door. Then do the manufacturers inspect them before beginning a build? How many of those get rejected?

You should look into bulkhead and interior grommets. It might be worth adding an interior grommet in the drivers right knee area into that voided area.

At what point do you risk voiding warranties? Always one of my main concerns. It seems like dealerships will use any excuse to get money from owners.

Flame red truck with electric blue pine strip right there: sick. Any contrasting color pin strip right there, yes. Bc it a huge factory (not added with screws) flare and seamless with the rest of the quarter panel gives a signature of depth to that stance. I would do that. And a light up ford emblem. Lights on the steps. That’s it. Not too little. Not too much.

Yeah what you described in the first minute is why I don’t let anyone touch my 2023 F-450. These days if you hire someone to drive four bolts, they’ll cross one, strip one, finger tight one and lose one. The condition from the factory is bad enough. I run mine as is
