I bought this treadmill based on your video. You made it look easy and worthwhile. The company changed their name to Lichico since the video but everything else is the same. I was told by my doctor to get more exercise. Living in the rainy Pacific Northwest is similar to Chicago as the weather often hampers outdoor exercise. This treadmill is the perfect solution. I do a 30 minute walk every other day and have been feeling great. The only thing I don't care for is the distance is shown in kilometers per hour and I can't figure out how to change the readout to show me the distance in miles per hour.

So glad you like it! I just finished walking 5 miles on it from working while walking today! My model has a way to change the readout on the remote. Did they change that?

Hello loving your content. Is it possible to get rid of hoffa’s fat pad impingment? Does it requires surgery?
@VictoriaDorsano
@VictoriaDorsano 4 күн бұрын
It can resolve on its own from just rest and proper training - but it's one of those things that can easily come back with overtraining again. Surgery can be an option but typically last resort.

“Developing speed and power and all those things too…” is definitely part of ATG progressions.
@VictoriaDorsano
@VictoriaDorsano 2 күн бұрын
Not necessarily when it first started when I began my ATG journey. There was zero, dense and standards. Now there are many more programs within ATG that allow for those progressions to happen.

@@VictoriaDorsanoATG develops the “hardware.” There is no greater predictor of speed and power. Dorsiflexion, knee extension, knee flexion, hip extension, hip flexion. All trained through full range, unlike 99% of other sport training. Ben Patrick said that generally the players he coached who were fastest had the strongest reverse squat/low cable pull-in. Poliquin taught this, but you simply will not see it in any other strength program (outside maybe some other Poliquin disciples). More generally all the progressions are there (always have been). There’s a bit outside of those programs, for example there is an ATG snatch grip deficit deadlift; but that can be broken down into components. Plyos are just icing on top. “ATG plus sport.”

1. The Marketplace is definitely still an option if you're making over $50k per year. Those tax credits scale based on income and the caps are much higher (at least right now in 2024). 2. Please do your research on Health Care Ministries, they don't all work the way they're supposed to. 3. If you have 2-3 different insurances (not including dental and vision), be warned that it will get VERY confusing when you do have a significant claim.

The only training system out there that makes sense for human beings is Functional Patterns...hands down. Humans stand, walk, run, and throw, that's what your bio-mechanical blueprint is primarily for. Everything else we do is a derivative of the gait cycle (climbing, swimming, wrestling, striking, etc.) Optimize your gait cycle and, in turn, pain will diminish, posture will improve, and performance in increase. Where KOT goes wrong is, they don't take into account how the muscles work in a sequence to produce movement. When you run, your tibia, calf, or quad isn't moving in isolation. By isolating one muscle at a time, you're effectively worsening your ability to move efficiently. However, when you coordinate muscles to work together in their respective fascial sequence (search: Anatomy Trains on Google images), you're getting all of the muscles that are designed to function together to fire. Lastly, the extreme ranges of motion that Ben Patrick does is not sustainable. When you achieve excessive levels of flexibility, you lose the necessary elasticity for powerful contractions to drive highly athletic movement. We have to get away from this trend of being circus freaks and walking around on our hands or lifting absurds amounts of weight...that's why we invent tools. Lastly, a lot of these guys who advocate ATG end up getting injured. Not saying there's a direct correlation, but it's an observation. Check out Functional Patters if you're serious about moving pain free and athletically.
