I'm still watching the video but, I feel like most of the brands like CDG express themselves a lot in the runways but have the normal brand that sell normal clothing and with Balenciaga they sell what they're wearing the runways, old, ripped, with mud clothing and etc. Oh to be honest nevermind, this video was made before the scandal and I don't think most the people here that commented will share the same opinion again, maybe hates the brand rn, but Balenci it's very hot right now

this is such an utopian idea at this point, but the internet and youtube started as a way to connect and share ideas and build community (and originally as a military technology I guess but whatever). Your approach to whatever topic you choose is what makes your channel so interesting, its a winning mix of style and substance. Maybe its a good idea to be less restrictive of the type of topics you choose, could it be fashion and also art or music or whatever. All the best

Your KZfaq videos are very good, but the views and likes of your videos are very low because the videos have not been SEO, if you want, I can SEO your videos, after doing SEO, the views and likes of your videos will increase, You deserve to get many like views, because your video quality is very good.

As a independent fashion designer it’s definitely difficult to crack the mold BUT you just have to focus on who is rocking with you and lock in on them, my custom denim designs do well without a huge following its all about your energy, the experience you leave people and word of mouth! Never went to school to learn about fashion no degree just a high school diploma,so If you have it you have it and if you don’t you don’t

Wow.... everything u described sounds like the reality for an independent artist. They also have to focus on who is loyal to them and continue to provide to THEM. And same industry issues of low pay(like less than a cent for a stream on Spotify). Creatives really do have it tough and becoming business savvy is increasingly more important.

@@Shazzyhtown it’s so EASY to lose focus when you don’t know the in’s & outs you find yourself comparing yourself to others instead of focusing on YOUR end goal and results , knowing that even though it’s not shaking right at this very moment that you WANT it to in due time you will start to see a significant improvement in your experiences and that to me is the best feeling as a creative because you deadass get to witness your own success! I learned so much throughout the 7 years of my entrepreneur journey and I’m STILL learning til this very day lol I’m just now launching my first channel cause people been asking me for tips and help so here I am getting out of my head & into serving others ✨

I have watched Bernard Arnault since the days of Christian Lacroix who he financial his first fashion designer made label. It crash and burned sold off for 1 or 10 euro later. There this rule today since the late 1970's that Ready to Wear collection counts the most in supporting perfume sales regards it a great smell or not. In the past Haute Couture was the power that create the sale of perfume, since it decline Couture has little in impact on the fashion landscape. Lacroix was all Haute Couture thus a failure. Now Arnault buy turn key system and not easy to make money .Ready to wear collection is brutal sport season after season try to capture the spirit of the time in the clothing . More collection is actually worse. More chance for designer to screwup. Building empire on fashion is like building on sand since good experience creative talent is hard to come by. Bernard might be secretly trying sell off fashion labels that are weak . The God of Greed is unforgiven for low profits now china is out of market. And fashion gatekeeper like Anne Wintour is done for. All hope is not lost Bernard Arnault can't sustain this for the long term time🤑

As an oldie I remember Kanye’s Blogs in the late 2000’s use to randomly post things he was inspired by, whether Japanese artists or minimalist Scandinavian architecture. His aesthetic’s showed that in his creativity.

Thanks for sharing a mature industry about the choice which has been maturely made. Tired of hearing the same narrative such as he's not a designer and he didn't do a fashion school. Thanks a lot

This brand is one of those, to me, that has an interesting design language but just fails to deliver time and again. I watch them because I feel like, someday, they might just throw a banger out of nowhere. Lot of potential - very little execution.

I mean all that fashion school ever taught me was how to waste money creating so called "art". All of the school projects taught me shit lol, wasted a whole bunch of money on materials, all for the products to later be thrown away. No commerciality whatsoever. It enrages me so much lmao. But who knows maybe that's what the fashion kids are after.

I would love to see a dedicated video on what you think about the fashion portfolio making process and what makes a “great” portfolio and what’s usually not acceptable. Really liked the few pages of your own mixed in this video, want to know how you decided which “style” is suitable for your personal portfolio.

Sure, many fashion brands run out of money due to their creatives not being business oriented, but the solution wasn’t to completely give up on creativity and surrender the brands to the business sharks…..
