We had the halo coller for a short time, it does now work well at all & would not recommend it to anyone. Very mild shock that the dog gets used to quickly. The worst thing about this is that the battery only lasts about 16 hours, it has to be taken off & charged every single night. If you forget to charge it, then you can't track your dog at all. We bought a cheap gps coller & it lasts over a week before needing recharged. For as bulky as it is, the halo should have better battery system.

At the initial step of using the metal tool provided I found instead of engaging and pulling outward, engage the bottom clip units (the two prongs) and slide out slightly, once the unit is engaged and moved slightly forward push the tool forward like a lever and the plate will come unclipped -- way easier than trying to use this tool to pull clips out. Again, use the tool as a lever -- insert and move slightly forward keeping tool parallel to wall plate -- push the tool forward like a lever and the clips unfasten -- easy peasy. I used a 2 inch wide plastic wedge tool on the top to bring those clips lose and the entire plate is free.

Very Bad Experience: 1 collar would not hold a charge. 2nd collar would not connect to WiFi. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT! NON-EXISTANT. Trying to return. Emaiied (only way to communicate with this company. Supposed to get a Return Authorization in 3 days. it has been two weeks NO RETURN AUTHORIZATION! Nobody every picks up the phone when you call. No way to leave a message. It hangs up on you! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

After months of working with costumer service because the 3 collars I have were no longer connecting or staying connected, they finally offered to exchange them. I sent the 3 collars in and only received 1 collar back. It came in 1 week, which impressed me and I thought the other 2 would follow soon there after. However it has now been a month and no collars. Their last email states they received no collars back, and that they wanted proof I sent them back. However they sent me 1 of the 3 back so, please tell me how you did not receive the other 2 in the same box! This company is out for the money not your precious dog! I have also written 2 review on their web page and they are not listed! That says a lot about a company if they will only show happy reviews and not the review of the people who are having difficulty and they don't stand behind their product!

We bought one, studied everything and went through a lot of the training modules before testing it out and it would send emergency feedback to the collar well inside of the fence, and would lag by 50’ when the collar truly breeches the fence, and now we are having a hell of a time connecting with customer service for any assistance or a return. I’ve been really polite but I feel like they are ghosting us. It has been a bad experience. We love the concept, but it’s not working for us. The training is really good.

Wow do they see you coming! $1,000 or even $600 for this simple system equates with pharmaceutical companies charging $25 for a pill that costs them $0.76 to make. Wait folks. This product is RIPE for competitors. I can keep track of 2.5 senile grandmas, my keys, my camera equipment and my briefcase for the amount of their MONTHLY fee. This is a great idea but if you read between the lines there are points of potential failure. Be patient and alert consumers and in a year or so there will be a few companies with higher calibre products for less money, maybe even from this company...

My halo dog collar has been replaced on warranty six times so far, since Oct 2020, it has failed that many times. No abuses, it just stopped power up this last time. Once it fails and they replace it on warranty the reconditioned collars the send out do not last but about 14 days and they fail. Terrible for a $700.00 plus collar.

Not much of a review, at all. 8 out of 10 minutes is watching how the machine is set-up. 2 minutes of actual watching the machine work. No testing of various paper sizes and weights. No testing of folded papers. Sorry but no cigar. 10 stolen minutes

A friend got one. All the screws fell out. He said it was cheaply made. Can’t turn it off so you always have to charge it.

But its overpriced and lacking 😕 features for $800 it should have a camera and or 2 way audio. You can buy "hunting collars" that come with a handheld controller GPS shock sound mist camera for under $250
