The ü is pronounced like u say "eeeeee" and while still doing it then slowly form a small circle with your lips. That is the ü sound. Then ignore the silent h at the end of the name and just say "Dornblüt". The & in German is "und", with the u being pronounced just like "you" without y". So you could try saying "yound" and then leave out the y. The "Sohn" (=son) is very close to the English "Zone" so just say that with what you consider a German accent. You can either leave out the "D." or say it like an old Irish man would tell you of "a wonderrrful DAY". As in deh or duh, not sure if that helps. "Deh Dornblüt und Zon" (This coming from a German)

Was just about to comment on the box when you did. The engraved text on the movement is beautiful, really shows how the choice of font can elevate the look of decorative text. The last bit may seem obvious, but small brands could really elevate their watches if they paid more mind to that when engraving their custom rotors or any other parts of a watch, especially since machine engraving or laser etching isn't that expensive.

I also got a custom made 99.1 with ceramic dial, It is a friend of Dirk that make the boxes. This year me and my wife went down to Kalbe and visit Dornbluth, where Dirk gave us a tour him self, And sign my outer and inner box to the watch. DB are just so great congrets 🎉

Im having a problem where i bought the same g9 model at best buy in CA, USA and the warranty paper says its only warranted by Samsung canada for canadian customers only. Can anyone find their warranty page and tell me if theirs is different

I just picked one up, I will say coming from a 2021 CRG9, I’m disappointed in the G9’s cable management, the CRG9 let you feed cable through the support arm and had a back cover concealing all the cable entries, plus it didn’t have a brick power adapter. I feel like Samsung dropped the ball a bit. If you are in the UK Samsung / PayPal are both doing 0% finance on this monitor for anywhere between 12 and 48 months. My stand is different too, I have the flat base but not the flat vertical, mine has cylindrical arm. I like the flat vertical better.

This would be the exact model I would order if I could afford it. The father and son who build these watches are incredible craftsmen. I appreciate hand crafted quality very much, and the value for what you get in incredible!

It really is! Can highly recommend picking one up if you're able - the craftsmanship is amazing and the simple dial is so captivating with the engraving.

@@harryblack I'm a minimalist kind of guy so that dial is spot on for me! Another watch on my dream list is a Grand Seiko spring drive; the technology behind that movement is incredible. I know the Seiko isn't even close to the crafstmanship of a D. Dornbluth & Sohn but I love the spring drive movement and the accuracy, maybe someday for both of them.

@JosephAl7 it's been a great upgrade from the first G9. Colours are so much better no screen burn but I have done things like hide task bar have screen saver come on with 2 mins etc but still very happy

Hey! Sorry for the long wait - we stayed in the city of Okayama. Even though it’s the closest major city, we still had to take 2 trains and get up quite early for it. If you’re travelling from Osaka you’ll need to set off early to have enough time for all the sites!
