I love to be alone but unfortunately to live free of the stresses of neighbours requires a certain wealth. It's difficult being culturally middle class but financially poor. It's being surrounded by people with whom you have nothing in common.

I have walked past this lovely man's bookshop so many times,and something always drew me to go inside,but "lack of time" always resulted in missed opportunities. When I do find myself back in that village,I will make a point to be brave enough to go in. It's normally the grumpy old men that have the golden hearts. He doesn't know it,but he exudes kindness and love.
