You mention many not liking fruits and veggies. I was the same until I completely cut out all artificial ingredients / sodas / energy drinks/etc. Forced myself to drink nothing but costco's alkaline water (room temp) for a few months. My tastebuds changed and I started enjoying fruits and veggies and water!! 😄 Now I do alot of juicing / smoothies and it has helped tremendously. Also bought my dad a juicer after he started having high blood pressure - he drinks small glass juiced beets ginger fruits veggies etc and has weaned himself off several blood pressure meds in just a few months. His blood work has vastly improved too

It is a big game of charades that the parents get duped early. The momentum is shifting and parents are beginning to look at other options and paths to the professional ranks. The problem is there is no definitive outline on how to get a pro card. Race a few motocross races and you get your SX card. Get your supercross card and there is no where to practice supercross. Not clear on how you get your MX card after getting your SX card after racing MX. Each year the path changes according to the parents of riders I work with. They are more confused now than ever. For example, what is the actual difference between the B and A classes these days? Deeply appreciate you taking the time watch and comment. I am working on a few programs...stay tuned!

Sounds great in theory, but the problem is that most of the data is trash because the algorithm has not yet any idea what it actually is supposed to analyze…
@CoachRobbBeams6 күн бұрын
I would have to politely disagree. To validate how accurate the Garmin data is, every time someone becomes sick, ALL of the metrics pick up on it. When someone has food poisoning, it picks up on it every time. So to say that the analytics doesn't know what to analyze is a false statement. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@gundisrambo90546 күн бұрын
@@CoachRobbBeams I would have to politely disagree with that as well. My first time with Covid, it would not detect it until day four. To be fair, the tests were negative, too, maybe due to the recent vaccination. But the symptoms were there already, and my Fenix would keep telling me that I was ready to train. It often is accurate, but just go and have a leg workout that gets your muscles very tired and go for a run afterwards. Your watch will tell you that you suck, your training is worthless and that your VO2Max is decreasing. Even if you actually did the right things. I have tried listening to the algorithms, for a couple of years even. The result has been stagnation at best. I am back to improving my metrics (even the watch realizes that!) since I have been ignoring what ist says (currently „unproductive“, but VO2Max is rising)

@@CoachRobbBeamsit was interesting watching the numbers during and after a bout of COVID. Not good enough to predict it but I used it to gauge when I could start pushing myself again. Similarly when I broke some bones you could see my body battery and HRV tank. Also wear it while on my motorcycles so I could see my acceleration and rapid deceleration.

All 3 of you guys are GREAT and super smart...coaching from the likes of you, and a top flight 'wrench,' all of which didn't exist, then where I lived... man, in 73 in Ohio, with at least 7 previous world Champions present in the feature, in my qualifying moto, at Dick Klamforths, Honda Hills, I had the fastest lap time of the day on the first lap which I had a half lap lead...my Maico went down later, but hearing all you is music to my ears! ❤😂❤😂❤😂❤😂😊

Hi Rob, what’s the best warm up regime for motocross race day? Thanks
@CoachRobbBeams6 күн бұрын
Anything that can elevate your heart rate without wearing you out. It is really based on logistics. The base warm up is 20 minutes: 10 minutes even tempo (HR Z2 or less) and then 30" accelerations with 30" easy efforts, then move to the start line. Each sport is different but that would be a solid place to start. Give it a shot and let me know how it works out for you!

I have had positive EBV IGG and positive EBV IGM since 2015, got CFS/ME after glandular fever. My latest bloodraw also showed positive EBNA. I have been mostly bedridden since 2015, and my doctor isn’t very willing to do any off labels. The problem is I live in Norway and doesn’t feel we have come as far with research and a connection between ME and EBV. I can’t help but feel that my life might be better if the EBV is treated. Do you think I could be better if the EBV is treated? I am also willing to travel to the US if it means I could be better.

@CoachRobbBeams actually the person is equally important as the message. If not for that person, the message does not come to life. Obviously, you are not going to out the person who you are referring to. Yet people close to you know, and with the deep details of your storytelling, the person themselve knows you are describing them. Maybe someone can message me offline and fill me with the knowledge you and others know. Just to be fare.

The thing about the “athlete” business is that the maturity of the “brain” business runs on its own clock. Let the athlete prove that they’ve learned from the situation, then work with them again and make it an even bigger success story if you want to see how good you and your team are. You have nothing to lose at this point. Unless he disrespected your organization is some major public way, this can all just be a part of a young athlete’s journey and you are the guiding light.
@CoachRobbBeams10 күн бұрын
You are spot on! The key word you used was disrespected. The irony is that the individual I parted ways with has gone through a few more "trainers" in the last year. See a pattern here. It is always someone else's fault. I can't work with someone who doesn't hold themselves accountable first and foremost. Thank you for watching!

I haven't been here for a while. Great video. Most athletes don't really understand the fundamentals that you are preaching. Your not an asshole and I know you know that. My wife is the nutritionist/chef/ ( her title but she does so much more) here at ClubMX, and your not alone! Most all young athletes think they know everything weather its racing success at the local level or the pro level. Then parents get in the way because they read that such and such eats tons of carbs, trains at high intensity all the time, etc. It's a recipe for disaster....... Her most successful athlete might be the owner of ClubMX. He is the only one that gets his blood work done, follows the nutritional rules (her words, as they aren't guidelines when it comes to performance) and it shows in his road to Loretta's this year. Hope I get to talk to you one on one sometime. I should have taken the time at the Yamaha event at Lazy River 2 years ago, but me and my boy were racing and we left to get to the motel Saturday evening. We needed that rest.
@CoachRobbBeams10 күн бұрын
Thank you for your insight. Some parents have lost perspective on the process associated with success. Isn't it ironic that Brandon has a successful race team, facility and solid race career AND he gets his bloodwork done on a regular basis. Successful people have certain habits as Brandon illustrated. Please track me down at LL's this year, I will be there all week this year.
