If you don't mind, I have a case for three entities I believe should be added. Sovereign Military Order of Malta: I know its territories are simply "extraterritorial", however that is simply their de jure status. This is an apolitical map, so their political status should be irrelevant. In actuality, their territories are entirely sovereign, and Italy has no jurisdiction there. They have a permanent population as well as a functioning government and are recognized as a sovereign nation by San Marino. Liberland: I know this sounds like a joke, because for many years, it was treated as just a micronation at best, and a mere idea at worst. This lasted until August 6th, 2023, when Croatia handed over de facto control of the island to the Free Republic of Liberland, and also set up a border crossing with them. Since then, it has had a permanent population and a functioning government. It has been recognized by Somaliland, as well as establishing diplomatic relations with Haiti, Malawi, El Salvador, and Dominican Republic. On top of this, the president of Argentina has recognized Liberland as a sovereign nation. Chinland: Similar to Wa State, Chin State controlled territory for many years. In 2023 they established a government and declared de facto independence. They changed their name to Chinland, and created real borders. In 2024, they established ties with India.

Thanks for the comment! As you mentioned, the Order of Malta only possesses extraterritorial holdings, similar to embassies and consulates, which is where I happened to draw the line for inclusion. There's no doubt the Order is a sovereign entity however. I'm not finding information to corroborate what you're saying about Liberland; it seems that access to the territory remains barred by the Croatian military. Chinland is definitely a candidate to be included in the next update. The only question is whether their declared independence is as part of the new federalist Burmese government that also includes the other ethnic armed organizations which Chinland is fighting alongside. This is in contrast to the Wa State, which is not part of the opposition government and is a Beijing-aligned breakaway state that existed prior to the current conflict. Thanks again for watching!

@@WaybackHistoryChannel Ok, and for more information about Liberland, like I said, on August 6th, Liberland is free to visit and has a permanent population. Wiki voyage has information about it. You can also see the construction of Jefferson Square on their KZfaq Channel. Also, could I have clarification on SMOM? They are extraterritorial de jure, but as I said, their territory is de facto entirely sovereign and recognized by a U.N. member.

@@WaybackHistoryChannel Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I am aware that this is the case, however, Wa Sate also recognizes itself to be a part of Myanmar. Simply because the entity claims something doesn't make it true. Italy themselves have been quite contradictory about their statements on SMOM. They have also said they have no sovereignty over the Magistral palace and villa, and as I said, San Marino has officially recognized it as a sovereign nation. The SMOM have also made a statement saying they are part of no country besides their own.

And the “graphic and gruesome ways” you are referring to are Israeli lies (like the 40 babies). The apolitical stance would be to wait for evidence, of which there is none.

Chileans are like 60% mapuches and basque... Their "military" traditions are only portrayed on parades. Argentina in the other hand is a completely different story, almost 60 wars and demographics are very different. It quite a lot of wars for such a young country, and has intervened in colonial times and during Cold War in almost all countries of the continent.

This is so wrong. First, almost 70% of the country is white, mostly Spanish descendants, about 25 mestizo, and about 10% or less Mapuche. And no, the Prussian is not only for parades as is also the doctrine.
