The Diorama is beautiful. We don't have a time to enjoy the diorama after you finish it. You work until minutes of 34 but the video is until minutes 37. Can you show us completely the result. Give me time to enjoy what you were doing. REally disappointed. There no section for us to enjoy your model night and day.

I am not sure why you would go to all of the trouble of cutting the walls and enlarging the gaps to make the stones then to just fill in those gaps with spackle. It doesn't make sense to me I'm afraid. Also, instead of using just black paint for your basecoat, I would use ModPodge mixed with black paint. This will give the same colour but make it very hard and durable.

Thanks for the feedback! Spackle acts as the mortar that holds the stones together. Check out stone walls from Dinan France which was my inspiration if you’re interested. Also great tip with the mod podge

Gorgeous! The attention to detail is spectacular. Little side note, if you print those tables upside down you’d minimize overhangs and the required supports meaning less work for you. I’ve never seen someone 3d print flowers like that before either, the little printed details are just stellar!

Box joints instead of mitre joints would probably be better and stronger for connecting panels, and help keep the aesthetic continuity more in line with the original stone construction method.

Howdy, I'm a very big early 1900s enthusiast. Here are a couple of things to note, for a more historical accurate diorama: The street signs would have been either a tin or porcelain, and the restaurant sign would have been porcelain. Wood was another option. When it comes to banks, the sign would have been engraved into the building. Also, if you had more time, the 1920s and 1930s were considered "Art Deco," meaning a more fancy design to things. Following that, advertising signs were very popular, along with murals.

This is absolutely stunning. Are you interested in doing a video or two or three on how you model and print your own 3-D STL's? Is there someway that you can give us a show? For example you built a table or you built to your own trash cans, or you built those rocking chairs exact, etc. etc. all the windows and doors could you go into how you do that and what program you use
