I would love to see a huge revision to this like Billy Gibbons Gold Top with just three knobs and NO switch…. You can dial any amount of bridge or neck or turn one or the other off for all bridge or neck and have a master tone with that coil tap. The switch is out of the way and truly unnecessary…. And if the revision was in 1952 Telecaster Copper with only three knobs…. It would be killer!!! Come on Dave G…. Meet Billy G and see how that works for the rest of us…

What it sounds like and what it plays like are two different things. That $150 guitar probably feels like hell to a true guitarist.

The only difference i hear is a slight better sustain on the two expensive ones compared to the cheap one. So you get to choose if paying the price of 50 cheap picks for a singular pick that will get you 0,2s more sustain (and will get lost in 0,2s too)

The Pacifica I did have to admit, I liked it...And now the revstar..I love it.
@TomFord-kp8fh2 күн бұрын
Yep that reinforcement with graphite in the neck is a touch and half from Yamaha, yep fluctuations of temp and humidity, that will help less time for it too rest on stage say, from it being taken out of the case and for yourself or a tech to need to keep it in tune from the neck reajust to to the envrioment, until you set off and play it. Smart thinking Yamaha. 🫡💯

Yamaha seriously thought of everything on these guitars. Some of the best equipped production guitars out there.

When I hear Chris Buck and Matteo Mancuso ripping on them, you just know Yamaha have made a brilliant range called the revstar.

Great review. I hadn’t seen your channel before and I’m happy to have discovered it. Just subscribed. ALL of these UAFX amp pedals, as well as the OX Stomp, are incredible! I went all out and bought them all and couldn’t be happier. Was going to get a Neural Quad Cortex but these pedals just seemed more like the actual real deal. Pairing these with the rest of my pedal board is just amazing. Especially with the H90…yeah, I went a little crazy and all but this brings me so much joy! 🙂🎸

Finally somebody who actually plays the various tones back-to-back so we can hear them in plain and simple! Best demo on this pedal out there. The one by Fishman is miserable (same applies for all their other AFX demos).

You know, that’s the best approach. I agree. Finding out what legends do can help get you there sometimes too, but ultimately, that’s the goal. Be yourself!
@DTmaster6 күн бұрын
@@TomButwin I know it's definitely not easy to be yourself with all the legends in your head because in the end we are all influenced one way or another, my solo stuff is kinda like Frank Zappa because I am going diagonally on the neck to play the blues etc, i'm not there yet but i'm getting there
