That happened to me In a citabria. I landed all right. But I released the pressure on the stick, and the tail went up a little bit, and I ground looped it. Luckily, I got it on the control, and nothing happened. It was 90° at 15 knots. Runway 9.

It takes a special person to own a polished airplane. There's ALOT of work. A rag wing Luscombe would be easier. Beautiful airplane! I had a friend who owned a Luscombe, what a fun airplane.

I soloed in a Luscombe 8F out of VTI back in '81. Had an Aeronca 11AC from 2009-2011 when she was wrecked in the derecho of 2011. Too old to fly now, but I miss both of those planes.
