I’m only 9 minutes into the video and I’ll have more to say after this but I’ll have to say this, Gondor also made an alliance with Loth. There was multiple talks about it and eventually got to a point on where we had alliance which is why you saw no forts around the other passes. If we knew they weren’t with us then we would’ve of course built forts to protect ourselves, but we were betrayed. As much as the Gondor people have denied they did betray us. It seems like they made an alliance with both of us factions and waited for an opportunity to see who would come out on top. Once they saw that we were the weaker faction they double crossed us and decided to kick our alliance to the curb and attack us.

Depending on the scaling of his R1 bottom ability, initiative Azog might be the way to go over initiative Sauron since his R1 bottom would boost defense and his R3 would trigger before the enemy commanders can act. Azog has 17 initiative at level 0 so at level 50 he would have 42 initiative. With a full purple set of initiative focused gear or we be looking at a minimum initiative of 55

Only thing Azog will defile in this game is the shelf he will sit on 😂 a support comm is the last thing evil needs rn, especially in rp. They should focus fixing exsiting coms first before adding new bugged trash.

Looks interesting, but tbh bringing a new troop support does not solve the problem we have with troop support and healing commanders... They should rather fix the problems in 2.0 first before adding new stuff that makes it more complex to fix the issues.

My initial thoughts are even though looks lovely and nice to have something new from a lore stand point he should be a DD and his stats suggest this. Skills don’t. Interested to see how he works in principle. Stop trying to bring back Elrond

the developers threw out their brains, everyone was waiting for him from the very beginning of the game, everyone dreamed about him and finally they released him, but the hero who according to history should have been a killer, something like Dain, they did shit. 2.0 is getting worse and worse, visual updates are more important than the balance of heroes at a time when you can play only 10% of all heroes and it is basically dd, and here the developers have a brilliant idea in their heads, let's make a hero that the community has been waiting for for 3 years, just make it not interesting, like all the heroes of evil, let them buy it purely for a model or collection) ahahaha absurd.

I'm at 2:00, and I'm actually going to disagree with the dismissal of clairvoyance. At least as of the server I'm in that started yesterday, after you unlock this skill it DOES NOT COST RING POINTS. This is extremely valuable in early farming to keep your losses down and check how your army stacks up against the tile troops you will be fighting

I know guardians are the most tanky small unit, but do you think that them being melee opens up your commander to more damage? I run great beasts with 3 formations of axe throwers and as long as the great beasts are there, the opposing melee formations can't counter attack my other three because they're ranged and there's a melee unit in the way blocking them

Does thrains guards effect both units and other commanders?

Lovely video and certainly forgotten. Commander build to increase the heal maybe worth trying? Could use pipe for focus and damage and hybrid r3 top r1?

Totally agree with most of the list. I think another option for NRP is including Sauron as little as R3 being a tank with madness. Gimli is the counterpart of Shadow for good side with enough damage whilst being not ascended

Great video like always! I’m not sure though how “worth” commander defense is as that only benefits falgin himself and not his team and not even his own units. From my experience the r5 skill doesn’t really scale that well with commander defense. It goes from 30% base to something about 36% with full purple commander defense gear

Mumakil damage reduction skill on black serpent was horribly nerfed - now effectively reduces damage dealt to teammates by -6%. Undying r5 max for heal + bottom r0 max for evade + r3 for stun is deadly in PVE. Still determining if evade or heal works better for me in PVP, because his heals can be insanely high by himself with the moderate gear I’ve used on him. He also starts with a decent base command, so if you were to build him right he can be an effective “brawler” commander that will take hits and dish out damage in PVP. His max refine unique is also very interesting, although it will interfere with other comms madness (I.e. sauron pre-battle steals). So unless he’s at least refined to 20% madness chance, probably not worth putting on when using sauron. You can build Lathar the same way as any other DD and he’ll drop better damage than Khamul or Agzok. As a bonus it is early damage, so great for 1 unit attacks like all the other Ringwraith comms. If using vanguards, or other high damage units, as your troops on other comms, his r5 starts coming into play to some effect. Zegrid can also hit similar damage to Khamul. With players starting to recognize the effectiveness of counters, probably will be seen more in niche builds to maximize his anti-horse bonus.
