Find ways to break white council is way more effective, you can get rid of it in round 1 or 2 and overrun, running 1 point into some skills just to have extra damage instance or troops like fellbeast that proc 2 stack each attack

Defense and % damage reduction are related but they are not the same. Raising defense is good however it is more impactful when the damage is close: increasing defense when your enemy has much more attack already won’t have as much effect as it’s on the right side of the equation shown in this video.

It's not really because of the order things are done in, it's just because this is multiplication instead of addition. Example: -50% damage means you are dividing by 2. To balance that you would need to multiply by 2. So -50% (aka, divide by 2) is equal to +100% (aka, multiply by 2). The takeaway is still the same though: You can't compare +10% and -10%, and the +% needs to be a lot bigger than the -% to match.

Beruthiel could be okay, but she doesn’t scale with focus so the effectiveness isn’t as great as Sauron + the rest of her skill toolbox isn’t as good in my opinion

are there any good-side anti-damage reduction commanders, such as Sauron. I play RP and i constantly see the same 2 setups: GTW, Dain, Gimli, Falgin or Eomer, Denethor, Theoden, Imrahil. Its getting stale and other formations keep losing. Im still experimenting and i like Elrond, cirdan, celeborn and gil a lot, but its definitely not as good

I notice that shadow has talent that called numenirian, it does focus damage, But that talent also has -6 defence -10 attack, is it worth it? I menat maybe that skill may be in use becouse of that?

Sorry slow response, I didn’t get the comment notification until now for some reason! -6defence and -10 attack isn’t a huge difference when you consider that meta comms like dain usually have 220+ attack
