Just watched a video saying these are the types of exercise not to do for spinal stenosis. So who is right and who is wrong. This Dr says these movements can actually make things worse ????

If I have spondylitis, can I do exercises like deadlift, barbell bent-over row in the gym? Will that be good for me or will my back condition deteriorate? Besides, should I continue or avoid an exercise like seated shoulder press that puts definitely some pressure on my lower back? Can you make a general video on the kind of common exercises that people with spondylitis should strictly avoid in the gym?
I'm pregnant right now and it is safe to have normal delivery if I have cervical slip disc?

NO to the hip-bridge. I must’ve come from a different planet, so please, if the bridge works for you, then awesome, because it is a brilliant glutes muscle activator. But, if you’re like me, don’t do it, unless you love ❤️ taking anti inflammatories for three days afterwards.

@@bobthephysio Yes, I definitely am! I thought that my symptoms were caused by my MS, but it appears it’s related to my L4/L5 desiccation and L5/S1 disk protrusion. Some exercises are offering me massive relief, one even caused a massive lower back crack that felt like everything just went back into place! lol My abductor muscles are definitely weak and I tend to roll onto the right side when I try and do opposite arm/leg stretches, but my body is feeling much, much better.

I have FAI and a labrum tear at the same time. Will these exercises help me or do I actually need surgery like my surgeon says I do? I've put off surgery for 9 months but I will begin formal physical therapy next week.
@bobthephysio11 сағат бұрын
Most FAI manage conservatively since surgery doesn’t bring any positive outcome in comparison. Having said that your case can be a bit different since you have a labrum tear. In your case I would still suggest rehab exercises for at least 6 months & then make a call

Well I’m going nuts. I’ve got RRMS and I just had my MRI scans come back indicating herniated L4/5 & L5/S1 disks. I have weakness on my right side of the body, my groin is always hurting, I have bilateral foot drop now, my right foot goes numb just about every day… I’m so frustrated. What is the best exercise I could do to relieve my symptoms? BTW, I’m also hyperflexible so stretching doesn’t really help. I feel like I need strength exercises instead. Please help!
