Sir, thank you so much for that video and especially the spreadsheet. I am curious how many socket trays you had to buy to accommodate all the six point sockets. Can you tell me how many trays of each drive size I should buy please? Thanks again for your efforts.

Can you remove a wrench from the first organizer with one hand or do you have to use a second hand to hold the organizer down? TIA

Get Mitutoyo or TESA Brown and sharpe , and you will never go back. Best would be probably a Sylvac from Switzerland

The standard Predator 212 engine exhaust is directed straight back to the operator, causing problems. You can buy a deflector that screws onto the heat shield, which sends the exhaust smoke upwards, much better.

I just got the 3ton daytonas cause they were on sale for $27 this weekend. My dakota is low enough so the 3 tons should be tall enough for now but maybe later on ill grab some 6 tons aswell. Dont even have a nice floor jack yet but ill probably be grabbing the 3 ton low pro long reach or the super duty

to get rid of the 0.01 measurement you are getting when turning on the caliper you have to set origin. that way it never loses track of the starting point even if u turn it off and move it around and turn it back on. thats why its called absolute caliper.

I think it would have been better if you kept the twelve point sockets in the bag that they came in that way you didn’t need as many socket rails

I think that the Quinn set is better for people that want to start working at a shop but the Pittsburgh is better just to keep around the house or to carry with you in a car

Nobody uses a torque wrench on lugnuts in a shop. Every mechanic knows it's all about how many uggaduggas you tighten it that makes a difference.

I bought both the 1/2" and 3/8" impact sets 4 days after Christmas so I got 25% off on each. I don't use impacts much but when I need them, I need them and I got tired of the multitude of individual sets (nice quality Taiwan and Japan) in metal cases along with sets comprised of a mix of USA brands like Craftsman, Proto, Easco, Bonney, a couple Snap On's etc on socket racks in my toolbox and ALL of which I can barely read the sizes and with all of them together there are still skipped sizes. I HATE not having a tool at my disposal if I need it and I'm always willing to pay more to have everything, when offered, whether I ever actually need it or not. I kept going back and forth whether I should just fill in the blanks for the sizes that I'm missing and return the unopened Quinn's but your video brings up a lot of excellent points and you've sold me on keeping them. Having them neatly organized in separate carrying cases frees up a lot of space in the drawers of my tool box and I can bring them all together wherever I'm working and have them immediately available rather than pulling socket racks out and or having to search through each metal case to find what I need and risk dropping stuff. Irritating, to say the least. Plus these Quinn's have lifetime guarantee's so I can run to Harbor Freight and warranty out on the spot if I ever have an issue. So I'll probably keep some of my larger impacts (like my Easco 30mm, 32mm, 36mm) sell the rest and keep the Quinn's...these sets really are hard to beat with everything that's included! Thanks for making up my mind!

Up top on both sides those holes, those are for things like screw drivers and prybars. Would free up half that drawer for something else.

The 6 ton look awesome!! I feel like I'd be more comfortable trusting my life to something that size and even if they were to cost $200, i value my life at at least twice that. 😆🤘

I’m a heavy duty diesel mechanic I have the 1/2in drive Quinn set, they been abused and work Great, have not broken one yet and is a great alternative to other sets like cornwell, Snap-on, etc. I know Quinn is just rebranded Pittsburg but pits skip on sockets and for the whole set Quinn is just better at price, and quality with 0 skips in sizes.

I really enjoy the way you go over the comparisons very carefully. It helped me decide that the Quinn set was the best option, also I got the Quinn set from Harbor Freight, as a "open box returned item" for 59% off, for only $163.59!! Thank you

I like 6-ton better than 3-ton jack though I only have a CRV to maintain at home. I just put the saddle at the lowest position after I jack my car up. It is already at the lowest place not possible to crash.

A deal breaker for me with Quinn was they don't sell individual pieces. So if you're needing a different size or lose a pice the only way to replace it is to buy it in a kit. With a company like Tekton you can buy individual pieces of everything they sell.

Ask multiple manager in HF and they all said it’s not true
@peterking8722Ай бұрын
@@jerrybersaminaA search on Harbor Freight website shows he was essentially right: Harbor Freight sells individual sockets for only a few big sizes - three sae sizes and four metric sizes that are mostly used for lug nuts and such other heavy duty jobs.
@makojuicedaniel93078 ай бұрын
You can Never have enough sockets. What stinks is when they give you 3/8 to 1/2 drive sockets but Only in 12 point. I cant tell ya how many sets ive come across that all the 6 point sockets were 1/4" drive

Junk, bought this and it couldnt remove a 17mm lug even on level 3. Yet I was able to remove it with a normal lug wrench by hand with barely any effort. Returned it, went to Home Depot and bought a Ridgid 18V and it was able to remove all the remaining lugs without much issue.

Great budget tool setup and cart if you need more storage. Harbor Freight sells a 1 drawer cart that goes on sale frequently, and that drawer can be added underneath the 5 drawer cart drawers

I would bet that hyper tough is made by TTI the same company that makes Milwaukee. I have both Milwaukee and hyper tough 12v stuff and the design seems similar like it was made by the same people and hart is made by TTI, they are open about it. Milwaukee is of slightly better quality but not always worth the money. The main advantage of milwaukee for me is the ability to get parts, i do not think hyper tough will sell you parts?
@mikej59598 ай бұрын
I dont think it is made by TTI. It looks like it could be but nothing on box or tool indicates that. Milwaukee, ryobi and Hart all say TTI on box and tools somewhere.
