When I do side pressure i don't feel a pain in pronation, I feel more pressure on my shoulder, and also on triceps.

After 13 years of avoiding side pressure training, Devon finally got stem cell therapy and defeated Ermes with side pressure and pronation. 😂

If you really think side pressure was the deciding factor in this match you need to take a closer look at armwrestling technique.

Its interesting to see his transition based on this philosiphy which he picked up all those years ago. Who knew it was Engin that told him this. Look at him now haha, preaches the same thing. Totally agree.

Side pressure just needs a slow progression that's all. If you don't rush it, the tendons/bones/ligaments have enough time to adapt

Both Devon and Toddzilla both would agree that training heavy side pressure often is what results in injury. Todd changes the angle of his 1rm every week which to me means he doesn't just drag to the side every week heavy, one week will be side pressure and second week will be back pressure, then 45° angle then back to side pressure.

I know this is an old ass video but you should redo it because you just singlehandedly confused the sport of arm wrestling.I use to be an arm wrestler until I realized there is no money in this sport to take you around to other events. so now I just call arm wrestling just a hobby because no money means not really a sport......... but more like a game. fun hobby no money. so I had to jump out of the sport for that reason.......and I'm noticing all the top guys in the sport have had a broken arm and every seem to be doing the king's move NOT FUN AT ALL. again I don't need a broken arm ill pass, but I was on my way to being a really good PULLER I would join 2 or 3 categories if I was allowed I would win most of what I entered. I was involved from 1986 to 2000 then I left just NO MONEY THAT'S A BIG DEAL. all the best to you. and oya I wanted to be able to make my arm go stRiate out.......... I didn't want my arm to look like an L.......I think I got out just as you were coming into the sport. having a broken arm in the past.......... helped you out big time. this I know. last thing to the people who want to do this sport you will get good if you brake your arm, message me if you want to know how I know this...............................................................

@@LuminousBorah not really, he was more muscular back then because he used to train all his bodyparts. he stopped for a few years focusing on arms only. Now in 2024 after Levan rematch, he said hes finally back training his legs, chest, etc.
