I was driving through the mountain pass in Oregon and there was a very heavy dense fog and I could only see about 5ft in front of me, so at the time I could have used AI the most to make sure not to hit someone in front of me the whole AI System shut down and I no longer had distance or lane awareness on the car as it could not see in the fog either. (Back to old time driving, very glad I learned years ago).

Our school system did away with abcdf, we have E,S,N,C,I which mean excellent, Satisfactory, Needs work, comprehends, incomplete. These grading scales are so annoying and the kids hate them. Because when they get there grades in the computer from assignments. Being turned in things are not graded on time or inputted into the computer as they should if the kids have turned things in.

I was watching one of your old videos about Hannah and Alex. I would love to see you guys do a podcast on what foster care is like in your area. As I listened to their story I am just shocked that the foster care workers never caught anything going on in the home. As a previous foster care worker in Ohio , a placement had to last for six months before adoption and personally a lot of us would take our kiddos out for the zoo, ice cream, etc and so that also gave them time to open up about anything privately . It just shocks me that even workers they should have had a good bond with before adoption didn’t notice anything.

I agree Max. I think you are very wise to be cautious of it. And yes, Aaron, adding to what Max said….all the harm it can bring, is reason enough to not be for it! However…it’s inevitable and it is already here. I honestly have believed for a long time this will be connected to the mark of the beast. And, I heard by 2030, like Crystal said, it will replace people in jobs, causing us to be reliant on the government. I’m not trying to push anything but it’s all revealing in itself. And the word also says, great deception in the end times. Like Crystal said, such a deception.

I just love your total family. Chicken Adobo: Aaron, I just bought a whole chicken, cut it up like a fryer, then choped it with my chop knife into bite-sized pieces...put it into the hot oil with garlic and whole pepper corns. Vinegar/SoySauce, etc...however then you have to be vigilant about splinterd bones. I was taught by a philapino co-worker..Pancit is also a big dish along with lumpia that is traditional...I can see you and the boys trying to pull together a whole philapino dinner! Pho Soup is amazing 👏 it is Vietnamese....I love all that the family does just had to get my 2CENTS in: Still watching after all these years Granny from Spokane!

Interesting topic for sure. I feel like there are benefits but there definitely needs to be laws and it's going to be very difficult to regulate. Overall I feel like it is going to hurt more people than it helps.

I finished my Masters early last year just before the AI chat GBt avalanche.. I am a dyslexic mature student and I worked sooo hard while working in a special school, and studying and raising my family. I had to read everything 3/5 times to take it in and process what I was reading to then write my own evidence based essays. And tweak and reword endlessly.. but I learnt so much! I went from a 36 year old mum, with no education, to doing a course through work and using a computer and seeing although my handwriting was awful and spelling was rubbish I could actually express myself and wasn’t as ‘thick’ as I had always thought I was. Roll on 10 years and I am an accredited play Therapist doing what I love ❤️ and somehow I managed to get the Deans Award for academic excellence from the university I passed my masters in! Chat gbt would have changed everything and made me question my efforts. I worked hard and know i earned the grades! However!!! It is an amazing tool! Using it as a tool to support your work can be amazing! Rewording things, proof reading! Checking for consistency of writing, professionalism, overuse of language etc.. it helped me draft a tendency agreement recently when I gave it all the parameters. I used it to create a therapeutic story using Milton’s construct, it was amazing! I just have it the facts of the story I wanted and it did the magic! I tweaked it afterwards but then asked it to turn it into a song!! Again took a couple of adjustments but it has so many great applications as well! It is a subject that is very current! Thanks for bringing this ❤

Very interesting. It is also something that will be interesting to see how things unfold and get accepted or rejected in various cultures. Even the AI replacing dubbing for movies is interesting as I live in Eastern Europe now and my friends here have all said they hate the dubbing and would prefer to watch in English with subtitles. Also many of them have said that is how they learned English and so for them not having it in their language was preferred as it built another skill.

I agree with you on the reaction and evolution of various cultures. And specifically on the dubbing or interpretation. People speaking the same language have already trouble to communicate. Using autocorrect or -spelling damaged already grammar and punctuation. Is the caption of this podcast saying what was intended, for example?

My grandson is a junior in high school. My daughter recently took my grandson to open a bank account. My grandson literally had to practice signing his signature for an entire week before going to open up his bank account. How can our education system in this country not think this is important when as an adult you are required to sign your signature on all legal documents through our your adult life.

A lot of the younger generations are behind 3 years in their knowledge because ò covid. If they didn't give them multiple tries, there would be so many more that would be below the mark and would probably repeat the grade. I don't know how they can help catch up to where they should be.

I personally HATE any dishonesty and I don’t take it personally but it does concern me for my kids and potential grandkids. There’s an ad that pops up on my phone with Kelly Clarkson “talking “ about these ACV Keto gummies and how she lost 40 lbs in a month. I’m smart enough to see that it’s AI because her mouth movement doesn’t match the words. It’s extremely irresponsible because they are trying to sell something that you put IN YOUR BODY. You only get one body. I’m concerned for all those that try to help their body to lose weight and then see those ads, and buys the product. This is just one example of potentially dangerous AI.

I have not used A I because of the work that I do, with that said it is a good tool for other people to be able to do the things that are impossible to do for instance people in wheelchairs and major Cerebral Palsy. A lot of things have some sort of A I in them that we use everyday like computers/laptop and phones.

Agree with you fully on teaching. I’m in Colorado I hope this isn’t true we already have younger generations not wanting to work. Now we are not making them work in school. What will they be like at this point. I do feel AI takes away from being a person if we had everything done with AI. With the cars I am curious when all cars have it does this take away jobs from state patrol and cops? Or would it help them? I do love the AI for kids helping with note taking because some kids struggle with that, but at the same time is that going to effect the teacher being recorded with teachers voice being used for other negative things? I wish I could see the future to see if it’s going to be difficult.

"AI" is just another tool. A tool is designed to ASSIST not to do. Someone becomes skilled at there job by doing. Creating tools that do instead of assisting hinders the ability and necessity to learn and hone your skills. When a tool becomes better than the user, The user is no longer needed. This will only create a society that no longer feels the need to learn. Every thing we have is the result of someone seeing a need, Learning and creating a solution. If the solution is too good, There is no longer the need to learn. Once you lose the ability to learn and create, Not only do you stop creating, You also lose the ability to maintain. This will lead to "tools" breaking down with no one able to repair them and the collapse of society. I60 yrs ago 80% could get a broken car running, Now only 20% can even change a tire. t took us thousands of years to go from making fire to making "intelligent" machines. How long will it take to get back when (not if) it all collapses?
