Tywin, Cersei and Jofferey were all equally despicable and outstandingly well acted but were at the mercy of other villains. Ramsay answered to no one once he killed his dad so he litteraly did what he wanted which made him unpredictable. With the little time that Ramsay had in the series he was completely unhinged and the most terrifying villain in my opinion. Jofferey was an asshole bully that tormented people and occasionally killed people when his temper flared but he was a weak mamas boy who got slapped around by Tyrion. Ramsay murdered his own father, killed people for fun and literally fed his stepmother and her baby to his dogs. He violated Sansa, he even broke Theon to the point that he couldn’t respond to his own name, and killed Rickon in front of John. Even before he was ripped apart by his dogs he never gave Sansa the satisfaction of begging for his life. Man was just pure diabolical

Lena headey was masterful one of the best villains of all time, she slays. At times she Carry’s the show so complex and amazing

Ironic that Euron is the worst villain in the show but the best villain in the books because in the books he’s an not a joker he’s an actual serious person that people in story are absolutely terrified of.

Re: Rapid cuts in Hardhome/Final Battle of Winterfell - they had to cut those quickly because they didn't want fans taking a long, close look at the actors portraying the Army of the Dead - they could cut costs in production by not having to use so much make-up/CGI by simply not showing much of the AotD in any extended detail. While I can understand your criticism of this point, it's also worth remembering that these scenes didn't "happen" - they only exist in a make-believe world that operates on a budget ;)

For azula, Since all of the characters will age and change in the time we miss between season 1 and 2 which will likely be a year, They can easily make her younger and less evil in a way for this season and have her be more menacing and older for season 2. And this is because the actors will age a lot and so they have to adjust the story

One could argue Allister could be higher. His character reminds me of the walking dead villian arguments, in which if you had been following him from the beginning he could very well be the one everyone is behind in the conflict. He was doing what he believed was right for his people. Also I never considered Mance a villian. And finally, the undead dragon ranks higher than Eruon.

I used to love him. But I think Charles dance gives the character way too much charisma that he doesn’t have in the books. He wages war in the most brutal and disgusting way possible he kills innocent people, and Uses some of the most sadistic people in the world to further his war effort. There is being pragmatic and then there’s being complacent with evil just because the evil further your goals.

Well, I guess the fact that Daenerys isn't included in this list, possibly as number 1, really tells all about how criminally misunderstood the show is by its own "fans" (and why) 🙄 With a few exceptions, it can even be argued whether most of those should even actually be considered villains, which depends strongly on the perspective, see several things GRRM said in interviews regarding the subject (have any of you even watched those?)...

I think GOT season 1 got interesting n picked up when Jaime pushed Bran stark out the window. That basically started the whole tension n thus war between Stark vs Lannister HOTD got interesting for me after Viserys cut open his wife just to get a stillborn son. Both happened at the end of the first episode!. Those ep1 cliffhangers already wanted me to watch more.

I agree with Tywin. To me, he is the only character where he is the name that first comes to mind when he is in the scene. Whether its his scenes with Arya, his children, Littlefinger, Joffrey, or even Oberyn, I have always thought of Tywin's name first. As GOATED as Cersei, Tyrion, Brienne, or whomever is, each of them has at least one scene where "someone else" has owned it.

I wanna add to your point regarding Oberyn. Pedro just absolutely made that role his! When reading the books I never felt a great impact from Oberyn’s scenes. I actually found his portrayal in the show better and that is without a doubt thanks to Pedro Pascal. His breakthrough role and my god was it unforgetable!!
