Never tried a Vessel I see...Makita Gold are nice too

Picked up this set last week at Lowe’s. With more and more stuff at my job going to metric I love how everything I need is in one handy little box. No more return trips to fetch what I need. Moderately priced as well for a quality set. I will be looking into their other Mod Box line-ups too. Thanks for the videos.

I’m a handyman/maintenance guy and I work in 5 adjoining Victorian homes and a modern low rise all on one city block. This kit was made for me! My previous socket and ratchet set was stolen from me in a break in, and my boss had a decrepit incomplete set in an old metal case with no organization. It drove me insane. This saves me time and frustration

I like my VIM RFB400K, but did you know they make a stubby version... NR400K? Handy little ratchet, but VIM made a blunder by making that handle not work as a t-ratchet. It comes with the same extension, but lacks the extra ability in the head. VIM... are you listening? ;)

I do mainly commercial electric. I own both Kleins and Knipex and heres my thoughts and experiences: both are excellent tools. Knipex is more balanced in the hand, have more aggresive knurl and cut MC cable easier due to the round cut out opposed to kleins rectangle. Ive cut up to 1/4 all thread with the Knipex. The downside is that the Knipex is not as durable. The blades will eventually roll and chip if cut enough hardened materials (which its allegedly rated for). I already had a set warrantied. The Kleins are a tank. Head heavy, makes a better hammer. If your splicing 4+ 12 awg wires or 10 awg to 12awg the Kleins perform better, maybe it has to do with head being heavier and easing the amount of torque being applied to do the task, im not sure.

Does the black paint/coating rust?
@projectpinehills7 күн бұрын
It’s a black oxide finish designed to help prevent rust. Anything made of steel will rust in regular high moisture settings. Thanks for watching!
@jessealvarez66877 күн бұрын
Being an impact rated screwdriver i would have loved if they had an impact spot in the back where you can use your hammer on it . Sometimes screws get some dirt built up or rust and that would help lossen it. I mean its no big deal but they already did so much to the screwdriver.

Looks like a simultaneous upgrade and downgrade. The UI and side panel seem like pure upgrades. Less so the case with the weaker and cooler light with less flood, the shorter runtimes, no powerbank, worse clip, lower IP rating.
