I don't like tofu because soy is a nightmare for the human body. I like your site so I'm glad to see you are just thinking I'm just thinking about flavor. Soy prevents the human body from absorbing calcium and is an endocrine disruptor among other things. Such a bummer that vegetarians always put tofu in everything. Poison is poison. Have your soy with some fluoride sauce.

I made this for lunch today, exactly as the recipe described. Absolutely delicious. I bet the leftovers will be even tastier. One warning: if you don’t eat a lot of salt, maybe skip some of the soy sauce. Also, just the fried tofu was delicious.

Hi, a small tip from an Indian fan: please don't burn your spices! :) We add a little bit of hot water to the pan when we add our spices to our onions so that they don't burn under the direct heat of the pan. They should stay a beautiful smoky red colour, and not quite brown. You can add tomatoes/tomato paste right after and cook the spices until the oil (or whatever fat substitute) separates from the water portion. That means the spices are cooked well! :D

This recipe is amazing! I was one of those people who did not like tofu, even though I wanted to like tofu. So this recipe was actually a last ditch effort for me to like tofu and guess what- I do like tofu now! The flavors, texture m, how to prepare correctly, there were so many pieces that were missing for me so, thank you so much for posting this video and teaching us skeptics how to actually prepare tofu correctly!

I love the recipes and the calming atmosphere but... the best part is how smoothly the videos run. I really do not want to watch how someone peels and then slowly chops and then slowly peels and chops the next onion and so on and on and on. Thank you Andrew :).

Can the oil be reduced? For an anti-inflammatory recipe, there seems to be a bit too much oil.

I agree, it certainly can be! I'm more of a meal prep person and i dont really consider avocado toast, a breakfast item, more than a lunch or dinner item. This would be a recipe that I would make for dinner and have leftovers for breakfast or even lunch

Yuuummmm!! I grew up with avocado toast in the late 80's and 90's, though not as amazing as this!, and I cannot believe how much ppl pay for basic avocado toast. This looks amazing

Let me start by saying impressive beard Sir. Ok so I just discovered your channel and I'm loving it. I have had to modify my diet over the last year and it looks like vegan is the only way to meet my nutrition needs but I do have a question I have to limit my salt, is the salt you use in the recipes absolutely need or can I just not use it. Also do you have a cook book? Need to purchase if you do.
