Letting go of outcomes/things U can't control, and believing the universe has a plan and totally letting go, sound like two different things to me. The first sounds like "I can't control anything except my own actions, and I let go of controlling the rest" and not obsessing over super specific results n such, but the second sounds like resignation to me. Like what if Ur in a terrible situation, and acting can allow U to potentially change things, but just letting go would leave U in that bad place? For example, I can't see how to apply "trust the universe and let go" to someone in say Gaza with all they're suffering from Or even to people who are safe bystanders of such things, I can't imagine saying just trust and let go, I feel encouraging action and struggle to help those kinds of things makes more sense there I love being present and letting go of many things, and not being unnecessarily serious, I LOVE GOOFY ESS and light-heartedness n such Tho, I believe there's probably a nuanced way to word these ideas that Ur discussing in this video that lands kinda in the middle of everything I'm saying here I think just the way you've worded this video sounds good in some situations, but wildly out of touch in others "Trusting things are gonna go where they're supposed to" if say my family just got blown up, or if somebody else's family did while I'm just sittin cozy, that sounds INSANE to me, you know?

There is no universe. There's only personal initiative. Med school or law, work hard, control your life, take control... Try taking the "back seat" and surrender - you'll probably end up homeless. To each his own..... you do you...
@nicolegio9173
@nicolegio9173 Күн бұрын
I think you have to surrender mixed up with giving up or not caring and not trying your best. It's actually the difference between forcing (what George refers to as "control") versus allowing what is in each moment which eliminates resistance and puts you at ease and in flow.

I find my Aries birthday intense. 😅 I’m a late March Aries (3/27) and I find March to be crazy and almost too much with the Spring energies just getting started in a frenzy. I need to take the pressure off my birthday being a certain way. Love your intuitive bday celebration.✨ Awesome job facing the fears and multi level spring cleaning. My husband and I were literally talking yesterday about needing to do this massive decluttering and cleaning Ala Marie Kondo. 🧽 ✨Happy birthday! ✨ 🎈

people have a lot of resistance to Jesus because of certain groups who give christianity a bad rep, but the bible is a book of ancient beauty it's a shame to miss out on if you are interested in different religious traditions! The Quran and story of the prophet Muhammad is also really profound. You can definitely get a lot from these things without having to become close minded !

This was a great episode. I’m currently studying an online counselling diploma. I’m terrified about the first prac in a fortnight that involves role plays. I’m an introvert and beginning this course was completely out of my comfort zone. Counselling aligns with my values so it feels like the right step. I love all this talk of self improvement and identifying struggles. I wish more people shared their nitty gritty. I had a realisation on the way home from work today which explained a lot of confusion I live with. Subconsciously I don’t like myself, so I need others to like me. That manifests as people pleasing and seeking external validation. Being an introvert I don’t feel a need to talk much, but receiving positive feedback from others through talking and people pleasing seems like the best way to give my subconscious the boost it needs to feel validated, but that contradicts my inner hermit’s wish to be alone. I’m working on self-validation and trying to cut the people pleasing. Mindfulness in simple house chores with my partner and a good night’s sleep is the new way to party, forget the booze. I feel a lot of overlap in our journeys, and that is validating 🙏

George! This was fierce! I love this. Thank you for providing the perfect companion to my artist date today. Was feeling very blah and out of touch with myself and I decided to do something fun and restorative rather than just immediately go grocery shopping. That said, grocery shopping is not something that’s always a drag, but sometimes it is if I’m going against what my body wants. That’s one of the principles of human design that I really appreciate. They say: the mind is never the authority. It’s always the body that knows first. I discovered human design a couple of years ago. Rather, it discovered me! That was an interesting experience. It hit me out of nowhere. I knew nothing about it and I just saw the word projector and I knew that’s what I was with Zero context. Interestingly, I was right. And it’s been a cool experience, and I’ve learned a lot from it. Like you said, it hits a lot different than astrology, even though it includes astrological elements. I love that you’re trusting the sacral pull. My husband is a sacral generator and I noticed when he doesn’t want to do something he is physically repelled by it. He also has what I like to call the unplugged vacuum cleaner syndrome, where he loses all his energy when he’s not doing what he wants. For the splenic projector like me, it’s kind of similar but more spazzy? I just get crazy intuitive hits out of nowhere or specific directions to do something or I just have to immediately jump up and leave a place. They describe it as almost like wild instinct. Like a gazelle or something lol. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for the podcast. It was excellent and I hope you enjoy your continuing exploration of all these spiritual systems. Like you, I see they all point towards a similar direction, and they are not mutually exclusive. Hugs to you & Julia 💜🌈🌟💥 P.s. amazing money book recommendation: It’s Not Your Money by Tosha Silver The audio version is especially delightful, and she reads it. 💰

Hi George, as a non-native English speaker I'm a bit confused. Is subtle dullness actually the beginning of the time when you are supposed to fall asleep. Or is it a phase when you don't feel like it or can't concentrate? 🙏
