The Infernal Devices are the best books. I love the old story and the characters. I really liked Will. He is also sarcastic but very nice. He is my favorite Herondale. I thought that I would not like these books since it was a long time ago. But I love it. 💙🖤⚔️➰🥰

As soon as I finished cot yesterday I began binging this literal movie and I loved every second of it, your theories were spot on and I agree! intermission grief gave me also so much anxiety cause of my baby Matthew I didn't know if I could finish it 😭 but I'm glad I did and I'm glad theyre mostly happy

i dont know if im happy or confused that matthew had a happy ending! obviously im relieved but also ??? why was there so much foreshadowing to his possible upcoming immortality? I feel like his story was not wrapped up. It felt like the end of TMI book 3, if that makes sense.

As long as the lemon trees grow is such an amazing read! The constant back and forth, pain and hope intricately braided together.. and that twist!! I loved it! ❤️❤️

I actually think readers who are diving into Chloe Gong’s books for the first time through this book might actually enjoy it! At least I did. You don’t really need to know what happened in the last two books because the narrator explains the important details of the past plot to you. So if you didn’t want any spoilers, then just read the first two books instead. I do agree that Rosalind and Orion’s dynamic is a slow-burn though, so I, too wouldn’t recommend this book if you aren’t into that and want a book with passion every page you turn. The reason is because the main protagonist is demisexual, and Gong mentions this in her Goodreads review. I don’t necessarily see her as entirely closed off either. She’s only hesitant in matters of love because of what happened with Dimitri. Other than that, she’s spacy, reserved, and career-oriented (similar to Orion to a fault). This is my own opinion though, but I actually connected to them more that way!

honestly i read all of mortal instruments over the span of 7 years and the infernal devices (which also was my favourite) and then started the dark artifices last year and like man i feel like even if you read mortal instruments that story/series is so whack and confusing hahaha
