Easiest Chicken Pot Pie & Chocolate Chess Pie

EASIEST CHICKEN POT PIE EVER
1can white meat chicken
1 can cr of mushroom soup
1 packet of chicken gravy
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1 small can of peas and carrots
S&P to taste
2 frozen pie crust
Assemble per video instructions Bake at 350 until crust is golden
CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE
2 cups sugar
2 heaping Tbls ap flour
4 tbls cocoa powder
2 eggs
1 melted stick of butter (1/2 cup)
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
2 9in Pie crust
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until set

We love the Sam’s can chicken. That’s the only one we buy. I love chicken pot pie and I’m going to try this recipe. My friend makes these chocolate pies and she calls it Hot Fudge Pie. I’ve made her recipe before and put vanilla ice cream on it. Delicious!

The nest time you make it double it do you cook poke salad there should be plent around the the cows are and you had better check on the strawberries if you want some to freeze and eat and make strawberries pies

Your chocolate chess pie is so similar to my Grandma Brooks' chocolate chess pie. My daughter Talley loves it too. I make it throughout the year, but especially at Thanksgiving because I try to make everything Grandma made. Great memories of helping her when I was young. Thank you for your wonderful videos. The way I look at it is "If you make it at home, it's homemade!" You put that Chicken Pot Pie together from various ingredients, so it's homemade. I think some of the best recipes are dump and bake recipes. They save time they you can spend on something more important, like being with family, talking to the Lord, or reading His word.

I made the chocolate coconut pecan pie, and I did add 1Tablespoon of flour and it was great. I only made half of a recipe. I t was very good. Thanks for all you do.

Happy Thursday to everyone.... I never thought of using cream of mushroom in my chicken pot pie... Haven't tried cheese in it either... Definitely different way to make it... Looks good... I use the Pillsbury rolled pie crust for mine... Looks like the boys are very good.... He was a hungry boy and spent time with Bubbles and papaw.... There are a lot of stories about how chess pie got its name. So which one's true? It's a mystery. We know it's been around for quite some time, but the pie's exact origins are hard to pinpoint. Let's take a look at some of the most common stories surrounding its name: A Southern accent might cause someone to mishear "just" pie as "jes,'" or "chess" pie. According to one legend, a cook was asked what she was cooking that smelled so good. "It's jes' pie," she replied. What the asker heard, though, was "it's chess pie." Compared to other custard-based pastries, the chess pie holds up relatively well at room temperature. Often, it was stored in something called a "pie chest." The word "chest," some say, eventually became "chess." Southern gentlemen liked to enjoy the dessert after dinner while they played chess. "Chess" could be a derivation of "cheese." Though there is no cheese in chess pie, its rich texture is comparable to British cheesecakes or curd pies. In a 1955 cookbook by Elizabeth Hedgecock Sparks called North Carolina and Old Salem Cookery, chess pie is described as "an old, old tart which may have obtained its name from the town of Chester, England."

Gotta tell ya. I was at Food Lion about a month ago and bought a Chicken Pot Pie. Got home and opened it and there was a frozen bug on top of the crust!!!😢 Never again will I get Marie Calendar's frozen products again. Ever! Everytime I hear chicken pot pie I am reminded of that. I likenthe Boston Market ones.

The only crust I can get is Marie Calander. Walmart isnt even selling their brand. And thank goodness! Its DISGUSTING! I read the ingredients and it said DEODORIZED LARD! IT SMELLED HORRIBLE AND TASTED THE SAME. NEVER MADE A CRUST, BUT WILL BEFORE I EVER BUY A GREAT VALUE ONE AGAIN. I never had a problem before. I think Pet or pillsbury was the best.
