Yay for York, SC! We live in northern York near Lake Wylie, so we can get to Steele Creek area of Charlotte in about 10-15 minutes. The schools in our school district are considered to be top. There is a lot of residential and commercial building going on, so traffic is only getting worse. The price of progress, I guess.

I feel all cities have good and bad attributes, it’s all about YOUR REASONING, AND WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR, for ME IM A MARRIED WOMAN WITH THREE BOYS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE SUTTLE. I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Single family home rentals lag in price compared to apartments. My bet is the fed will drop rates before SFH value and rental rates start to drop, so we’ll never see it happen. I’d imagine apartments rates will continue to drop for another year, plateau and stay there for a while depending on how many people continue to move to Charlotte and which industries continue to slow down, move out or grow
