Is there a reason you're choosing to fill the whole die through the hole? I would have filled up most of the die without the cap, then put on the cap, and then used the hole for the last bit. It feels too me like you would have introduced fewer bubbles that way. But I'm not exactly speaking from experience, so maybe I'm missing something very obvious... Edit: you did just that right after the bit where I posted my comment. For very different reasons, though.

No clue if it would actually work but maybe a microfiber cloth like a glasses cleaning cloth would help clean the fuzz off the dice

I'm finding it so funny how since you got the shell molds, every other vid the best solution is always she'll dice xD. Makes me want to get a set of those molds

Hey Rybo! I think I found something you might like to try. Folkflrt Dragonfly glaze color changing acrylic paint. I tried to ink some dice with it, and the blue green gold shift paint made the numbers look like iridescent fools gold. You gotta try it!

That bronze ink was the icing on the dice. I am going to need to order some of that!

For the wispies, I'm fighting the same fight! But I'm using opaques so its nightmareish 😂 It seems to mix during the insertion, so I've thought of a couple of ideas; 1. Let it thicken before adding the pigment. This should make it harder for the two to mix. 2. Pour a tiny amount of resin, add a tiny amount of pigment, then add the insert and do a pour of pre-ink dropped resin to try and fill it. Risky, but could give better control over wispies. For either, though, I'm thinking less ink. The shells are so thin!

Or one of those coffee stirrer straws and covering one hole to pick up the liquid. Idk what it's called but it's a good bartender trick to taste test a drink's balance...or to try your friend's drink.

Would a toothpick be helpful for applying dye to your die? You'd possibly have more control over where the color goes then.

I've been watching your channel for a while and it honestly awoke a new interest in dice (other than it's excellent combo with pen and paper). For someone who's looking into trying recreational dice making, what kind of methods do you recommend? i.e. would you recommend a pressure pot as a must get, or would a spew mold be better for the recreational maker? What i do to fix the fuzz problem is after it is wiped down, give it time to dry then wipe them down with a dry microfiber cloth.

I love this but hate the color combo. I didnt like the colors but also the gold is opaque and glittery while the blue is too light and transparent. but overall a nice board
