For anyone commenting derogatory language concerning Colleen’s appearance, that is entirely unhelpful. Colleen is obviously going through something and she is a public figure online. We can express concern in a respectful way, or with private dms but making inappropriate remarks is not going to improve the situation. Colleen, if you see this know that it is brave to ask for help or take a break and I hope you have someone in your support system you feel comfortable going to. I understand this is your job but there is no shame in taking some time away, if you are able. I do not think you owe anyone an explanation, however you do need to be aware that we care about your wellbeing as viewers and certain signs are raising red flags to those of us who come from a past dealing with our relationship with food. I hope you receive this message with kindness and love Colleen, and if this public comment makes you uncomfortable, you may delete it or I can take it down. But I want to say there is a clear lack of compassion in some of these comments and that has no place in this community.

Girl, take your own advice. You know what you're doing is killing you. You know how to recover.

Or you know, maybe everyone's body is different and the way they detect fullness is different. Eating slower (especially without distractions) works well because it give people time to notice those feelings you were talking about. That's all part of intuitive eating so if you're going to come on here with your know-it-all attitude, at least get your facts straight.

I don't care what your ED tells you, this isn't ice cream; it's a glorified protein shake.

i had an ed as a teenager and a few years ago i started recovery. of course, i put on a bit of weight because i was finally allowing myself to eat normally. my mum noticed and subtly commented on it, telling me to eat less etc etc, and now ive relapsed and im back to restricting. the irony is that at first she complimented me on my weight loss, but recently she's been concerned about it. not to mention that the exact same pattern happened to my little brother. i love my mum but holy shit i wish she'd never been introduced to diet culture.

Hey if you can you answer this question: I’ve been lately trying to lose weight bc I feel like I don’t enough exercise and look cubby, but am lately too busy or just feeling lazy, I try to eat healthy and try to cut my food amount but I always come back of my old ways and I feel really awkward about my body.

I appreciate your shorts so much. They have helped me feel so much better about my body size and have improved my gut health issues. I don't feel bad when I want to eat more some times. I also don't feel as tired. It's okay that I have gained weight. My *ED* ruined my early twenties. Thank you for helping me as a man because mental health and food were not discussed openly when I grew up. I was malnourished only weighing 10 pounds. I felt that because I was skinny I had to stay that way because of the societal expectations from my family and peers. I know weigh 135 pounds. I gained some muscle and fat. You have healed 15 years of trauma.

This was hard for me to recognize as a teenager who had a weird diet of not eating and then binging and not eating and then binging. Finally as an adult I do not have a weird relationship with food, and it actually seems like a chore most days to eat something. I can recognize when I’m full now and it is NOT fun. I can’t even eat an entire burger anymore or a full pizza !!! 😭 I guess I am grateful to not stress out over eating tho. Instead im more stressed about getting something nutritional in me cause most of the time I feel satiated even if I haven’t ate !!

What I love about you is, you don't try to "healthify" your favorite foods only for them to not taste as good. You just allow yourself to have whatever you want. I do the same thing as you, and it works!

That is A LOT of sugar though. The daily recommended amount of added sugar for women is 25 grams. And this recommendation isnt from wellness influencers its from actual doctors. You can live without the sugary treats, it doesn't "nourish your soul" it just does physical harm, esp if youre doing this all the time. Sugar is quite addictive.

Coconut water is my fave form of electrolyte. It does contain some sugar (because, coconuts do that) but it relieves dehydration headaches faster than anything else I've tried. Pregnant and breastfeeding rn, so I definitely need to be upping my fluid intake. Hard to drink enough for some reason 😅
