Hi guys! Oh my goodness I’m so excited to share this vlog with you! My husband and I went to Boston for a long weekend (Thursday- Sunday) and in this Boston trip vlog I’m going to take you with me for a DELICIOUSLY good time! I hope you love this what I ate in Boston vlog! We may be going back so if you have any places that I didn’t go to but should next time please leave a comment!
In this video, and in all of my full days of eating, the goal is for me to show you what it looks like to eat with no food rules. I explain the WHY behind my food choices so you can see how I eat intuitively. During these full days of intuitive eating some things will be kept ambiguous to help prevent comparisonitis.
Since we have quite a few full days here I decided to make a resource to expand more on WHY and HOW I make food choices with no food rules. Really there are 5 questions that I ask when it’s time to eat and the PDF will walk you through them so you can also learn to eat intuitively with no food rules. Snag the PDF here:

Don’t forget to give this video a thumbs up if you want to see more full days of eating! And if you’re not already subscribed to the channel be sure you do so you ya don’t miss ‘em!
Here are all of the places we ate:
The Saltie Girl (I go the fried lobster waffle)
La Famiglia Giorgio (I got the bambino pasta with angel hair and Joe got the chicken + eggplant parm with angel hair)
Bova Bakery (Lobster tail + Napoleon)
Mike’s Paste + Modern Bakery (Cannolis- I liked Modern better!; we also got a lobster tail and pistachio cake from Modern- the lobster tail was better from Modern than Bovas in my opinion!)
Joe’s (espresso Martini)
Atlantic Fish Co. (Chilean sea bass + Lobster Risotto)
Tatte’s (Shakshuka + salmon egg sammie)
Taiyaki NYC (Ice cream; red bean paste filling)
Neptune Oyster (Oysters, lobster roll + fries, Johnny cake)

As a bred Massachusetts native, I’m sorry but I had to giggle at the way you said Faneuil Hall, while also recognizing we pronounce things in the most unintuitive way. Thank you for highlighting Boston eats. Again as someone who grew up there I never really tried exploring the food scene until I moved away

Its good to sometimes eat with no rules and pretty healthy to do so!I love your content because it made me realize that judging yourself and comparing yourself with others makes you more insecure and sad!! Keep up the good work!!!

I really enjoyed this as I just got back from a work trip to Boston! Was glad to see Modern Pastry. I loved their cannoli and butter cookies. The lobster tail was too much for me to handle but I tried!

This was great, Colleen! I miss Boston! I like these WIEIAD videos because its interesting to see how people eat, how much, timings, the thought process. So for me personally, when you had some leftovers before heading to dinner, id either hold out or make sure i had some candy to snack on. This shows everyone is different. On vacation, we are always going to be out of our routine. Nothing off the rails, but lets be real. Eating habits on vacation are just different and thats okay.

I love seafood. I also love red bean paste, especially in mochi. Actually, there's nothing I don't like, so there's that. This was fun to watch!

I went to college in Boston and the North End will always be one of my favorite places to go out to eat! Mike pastries is my favorite bakery, but everyone has their own opinion! Even in my Italian family there is mixed opinions! 😂

Love your tip about yogurt! I'm always searching for full fat/whole milk plain Greek yogurt. Incredible how difficult it can be to find. Aldi is my go-to since their house brand organic version is still cheaper than Chobani.

Given so much of your food choices are intuitive, it would be really helpful to get a visual of your food when it is served to you or when you make it yourself and how much is then left on your plate when you are satisfied. I would also love your thoughts on the concept of stopping when you are satisfied, what signs you look for to detriment this, do you ever go beyond and how do you deal with that etc

Have you ever smelled a memory foam mattress topper or pillow straight out of the packaging? That's how those legendary protein poptarts taste to me. I tried their chocolate rolls, which were much better, but still fairly chemically tasting. Holy mackerel, those fish cones were too cute!

Great tips, but it’s nearly impossible for most people to eat intuitively and not be overweight. I bet the comments would be very different if she was an overweight woman vs how very skinny she is.

@@charisduplessis3894 we all know that it's more than that and who told you that you can really control your hormones like it took me years...and you don't have to overeat to gain fat a reasonable portion of say cookies or pecan pie or chips can affect your weight....I am not judging her body I would never do that..I am pointing out the fact that for most women it won't be possible to stay that lean while eating like that and yes I know it's a vecation but a lot of her tips won't work Like why she have the right to say that gaining weight is good or bad when she have never experienced that before

@@christyg1236as a former morbidly obese person who lost over 100 pounds her advice has definitely helped me heal my relationship with food. Not everything has to be the lowest calorie version of the food I want. Today I had 650 calorie breakfast sandwich with no regret, 4 slices of bacon, 2 whole eggs, 3 egg whites and a fresh Italian loaf for the bread with grass fed butter spread on it with a glass of orange juice. Absolutely delicious.

I enjoy your channel but, am finding it hard to believe you eat like this. If most people eat like this they will be overweight. The only thing I can figure out is you must not eat very much of it.
