Great job, Kreg. Now I know how to do that correctly! Tried it recently and didn't wring out the q-tip. Thinner ran onto the paint and had to re-paint that area. Smdh. Thank you Kreg👍

I need to practice some BMF...looks killer. I'm going to build one of these as a 92 25th anniversary that I had in college.

I also have Passche airbrushes & I have used, with success, straws from spray pumps, the clear or white skinny straws. If they have a problem fitting on the paint bottle cap you can heat the end with a hair dryer to soften the straw end to fit the cap nipple, then let it cool. Trim to length, cut a V on the bottom so it doesn't clog against bottle side. I reused old Floquil bottles, 2oz to mix Testors enamels. The straws were also sold as bottle parts, but are hard to find in longer sizes.

What’s the benefit of the LP paints over the Acrylics? I’ve got almost all of the Tamiya Acrylics and don’t want to spend the money to replace them anytime soon. And what was the adhesive remover you used? One more question, I know you’re a Ford guy, who makes the closest Ford Engine Blue paint? Thanks. Peace and love.

Nice color choice! Reminds of Acapulco blue from back then. A group build was always something I wanted to get into but everytime I've tried something happens and puts me out before I even get started.

My first thought was the song "Hot Rod Lincoln", but Mustangs are always a good subject to me!
