I cant fix the stutter step, i always end up doing them cuz if i dont my shots go over the bar or off target, how do i sort my foot ? + Ty
@KreiderAcademy
@KreiderAcademy 2 күн бұрын
At least you’re aware of the problem! Thats the first part to fixing it😁 Here’s what I’d do to work on my timing. The more reps and shots you take, the more comfortable and confident you’ll get without doing a stutter step. Do this drill 3-4 times a week. Roll a ball out in front of you a few yards and shoot. Then your next rep, dribble 5 yards and then shoot. Your shots will likely be better when you’re just taking a shot rather than when you’re dribbling beforehand. When you score a good shot, your goal should be to recreate the same was it felt as you’re running up to the ball and shooting. Let me know if this makes sense since it’s a little difficult to describe throw a comment. Try this out for a month or so and let me know how you progress😁 hope this helps🫶🏼🫶🏼

Hi love your videos. But I can't create backswing while i am shooting and just cant lock the ankle
@KreiderAcademy
@KreiderAcademy 6 күн бұрын
Why can’t you create backswing? Locking your ankle as you shoot is a habit that needs to be built. To work on this, have a partner toss you the ball to your foot. Volley it back with the laces of your foot back to their hands. Keep your toes pointed down as you do this (locking your ankle). If done correctly, the volley back will have power and will make a deep thumping sound. If you do not lock your ankle, the volley will have backspin on it and have a higher-pitch, popping sound. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

Do you look up before you begin your run up and find your target or don’t just don’t look at all
@KreiderAcademy
@KreiderAcademy 6 күн бұрын
You need to look up as you’re running up yes. Once you take your touch, you should know where the ball is rolling. Then look up as you’re about to shoot to determine: 1. Where the goal is 2. Where the keeper is 3. Are there defenders in the way of my shot So that way you can decide the best shooting technique to score the goal! Once you get this information, then focus on the ball as you shoot. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

I can't hit the ball with my laces it's like my foot is too big for the ball, whenever i try power shot i can only hit with my toes, and when i try hitting with my laces i hurt my toe, but i can hit perfect volley with my laces because the ball is not on the ground.
@KreiderAcademy
@KreiderAcademy 11 күн бұрын
A common problem! Your standing foot is too close to the ball. Try adjusting your standing foot so that it is a few inches further to the side of the ball. This forces your leg to come out at an angle when shooting so you aren’t straight over the ball. And that results in your toes not hitting the ground when you shoot if you’re striking the ball properly. You also need to lean to the opposite side of the ball as you shoot. This will help you maintain your balance as you shoot. I know this is a lot. It will take lots and lots of practice to master so don’t be discouraged if it’s takes months to get down! Keep working hard and it’ll come with time and practice😁🫶🏼

Hey, do you have any tips for defending and physical? If so please tell me! I definitely need the physicality.
@KreiderAcademy
@KreiderAcademy 11 күн бұрын
Absolutely! I’m planning on making a video with tips for defenders so keep an eye out for that! In the meantime check out my video titled “Become a DOMINANT Defender Using these Drills” because I give some tips on 1v1 defending there! There’s two sides to being physical. Firstly and obviously is the your actual strength. And this isn’t like doing bench press and lifting lots of weights. That helps too, but you need to have strong core and balance. This is what allows you to use your strength and win your physical battles. You can be as strong as Adama Traore but without core strength and balance it’s meaningless (he has them both too). The second side is mentality. And this is the most important part actually. You ever see small players body big players off the ball and win tackles? It’s because they are determined to win the ball. If you want to be seen as a “physical” player, then develop an aggressive mentality where you tackle hard, fight and scrap to win the ball. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
