because we’re lacking of good designers these days. not only for fashion, but for architectural and art as well. realised that some random building from 1800s looks better than building built in 2000s? yeah it applies to fashion too

I was an SEO writer for like 10 years and AI took that job basically because clients decided to use it instead. The internet looked bad due to SEO and AI is even worse since it uses the internet so it's just rewriting SEO articles. I actually do AI work now and yeah, not really happy that all these companies seem to be leaning into it to save money.

Your point on luxury brands actually proves you wrong. As only 1% of brands and jobs in economy are in luxury brands, so by definition your "advice" applies only to 1% of people. But there is still the Etsy niche, which is not luxury, but still original and handmade.

Etsy niche is very interesting, could become a topic for another video. Thanks for sharing!

Completely disagree with this video. While I agree that creating soulless content isn't the way to go, neither is training a bunch of people. What is going to be effective is essentially a bridge of people who can use AI to create content and make the necessary tweaks for it to remain original and purposeful. Anyone who thinks you can completely avoid AI is running blind. Also sidenote: Sources in the video used need to be fact checked. Citing partial examples to provide validity to your argument does not mean that your argument is correct. An example is Ferrari, which ran into an almost irrecoverable loss in the 60s due to being overpriced, the only reason they survived is because Fiat agreed to buy them, and in today's world a lot of Ferraris processes are automated. Even they had to eventually submit. Exclusivity and "hand made" are two different things, with some common tangents.

There will always be a place for Japanese carpentry. Does not change the fact that using modern tools to build houses enables new designs and make production easier. AI is a tool, incorporate it where it makes sense for you.
@StolbovaBrand3 ай бұрын
You are right! Traditional art will always find its place among the collectors and those who appreciate authenticity. It just takes a different path from the modern tools serving utilitarian purposes. Craftsmanship becomes an attribute of luxury, and it doesn't deny the utility of modern technology. Thank you for your thoughts!

If you ignore AI, you most likely get into trouble. There will be only a very few areas in which AI will not trump humans (intuition, divine connection, real emotions...). It's about maximising the human potential and use AI in addition.
@StolbovaBrand3 ай бұрын
That is true! AI will never be able to replace real emotions, and that is why branding is so important. Because it is all about creating emotional connections with the audience. And you're right about maximizing human potential, AI only serves to enhance and not replace genuine human creativity!

Guity confession - i used to "cook" meals for my ex that i bought from the store and told her i "hand cooked it from scratch"... she loved thought it was amazing. Point being, whats to stop people from pumping out ai content and making claims its genuine?
@StolbovaBrand3 ай бұрын
Wow, that's actually a really good analogy! The funny thing is that literally today, KZfaq launched an AI-generated content curation. So, it seems that some of the responsibility of identifying AI-generated content will lay with the platforms, and the other half basically depends on ones decency and integrity. Nothing stops some people from imitate famous paintings... But the experts with the trained eyes and special skills will always be able to tell a counterfeit apart from the genuine original. AI-generated content is still quite easy to spot. As time passes, new experts will specialize in identifying such pieces 😊

I think avoiding automation is important for luxury goods, because if you automate their construction, they loose their uniqueness and become more ubiquitous. But if your hand crafted business is trying to complete with automation in producing consumer goods of the same or near same quality, people will almost always choose the lower priced goods mass produced with automation. Example: don't hand make standard 2X4 construction lumber, because you will put way more effort to make a product of similar quality. Thanks for the video. The video looks and sounds great and your take on using AI is good advice for business to produce unique and handcrafted luxury products.
@StolbovaBrand4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I am glad you enjoyed the video ☺️ Very well said, automation often causes the brands to lose their luster. The point is, if a business owner chooses a path of building a luxury brand, they won't compete against mass-produced items. And it will be a challenge for positioning and communication strategies to convey the value of hand-crafted products on the market flooded with generic ones.

It is not designed to be a sales hit, Balenciaga is not even considering a strong profit of it. It is designed to rise the hype on the brand, to talk about Balenciaga and have us talking about it in social network, creating kind of connections with the brand, and they are successful at it. It is like the banana in the wall, nobody cares about the banana but everyone talked about it.
