KotOR still has the best story (re: twist) of any game I've ever played. Ever. No other game has had a story that made me _completely change_ the way I played the game, going forward.KotOR made me fundamentally change the way I was doing my playthrough, due to the story. Whereas in 99.9% of games you go into them already decided from the beginning how you were gonna play. For example, Disco Elysium is good, in that it offers a lot of choice & randomness, but nothing in it will make you go "Holy shit!" And immediately change how you play the game.

I usually avoid horror games at all costs cause I'm a chicken shit but I recall one night in high-school I was sleeping over at my best friend's place and we decided to spend the night playing Fatal Frame in the dark. We knew full well what we were getting into but at some point we entered a stairwell which we knew contained a ghost and prepared to fight it. Let's just say we could not stop laughing at this particular ghost. Her intro cutscene showed us her plummeting from the stairs to her death while screaming and staring at us in passing. But the scream was so overly dramatic and the sound she made on impact just wasn't scary xD. Even better was we spent the next 10 minutes just backing away from her as she squirmed towards us on her back waiting for her to vanish and fall from the ceiling again. We started calling her the ankle biter cause she hurt you by grabbing your ankles if she got too close. I will never forget the complete lack of terror I had from that fight lol, still my favorite memory and I can still hear the scream.

In fairness to Wolnir, he didn't exactly plan to have weak points. He grabbed that holy bling from the corpses of some slain foes in a desperate attempt to get the abyss off his ass,. you aren't killing him when you break them, you're removing the protections he has and leading to the abyss dragging him away

It’s not so much an embarrassing weak spot as a weakness, but with the release of TTYD HD this week Hooktail becomes woozy when you equip the sound effects badge that makes attacks sound like crickets. Big terrible dragon who eats Koopas on the half shell, can’t stand crickets and barely attacks at the mere sound of them.
