Linux is kind of Android like operating system, because Android uses Linux. Biggest issue is, that you need to workaround with its Kernel Anti Cheats to run the Games unlike Windows. Second Biggest issue is the Backwards compatbility. Linux is a no no, since theres is not there. The Newer the Kernel, older outdated program wont work anymore. Windows does do it still, even the kernel is updated. but that depends on programs. So Linux is the same like Android. Even Android 14 dropping the backwards compatiblity, so glad i still use outdated android versions...

Well, Win 11 seems to have changed the settings layout. I cannot find the fast startup setting. In fact I cannot even change the setting of the power button. OK, from now on, I will only use Windows to play a few games. I am switching to Linux.

I have a question: Imagine we're traveling in a ProMaster van set up as an RV. Now imagine we have a Apple MacBook Air inside the van and we wish to connect to public WiFi (outside Home Depot for example), but we would like to use an ethernet cable to pick up that public WiFi signal instead of using the WiFi on our computer. We'd like to keep the WiFi signal outside the van but bring it into the van via ethernet cabling. Is there a device that can be attached to the top of our van (weatherproofed, of course) that would allow us to receive public WiFi without exposing us to that WiFi signal inside the van? The device would need an ethernet output port (WAN? or LAN?). I'm stumped. I don't know how it works nor do I know if we would need a SIM card and an account with a major carrier, etc. I just don't get how that all works. Can you help us? Or anyone else reading this...who knows the answer to this? I would really appreciate the help.

Nice advice to move IoT devices to the Guest network (or Guest wifi in my case) but there is a small problem. Now I can't reach those devices anymore. For example my IP camera. So they are not usable anymore.

I switched from linux to windows 11 only for driver related issues. Fingerprint drivers dont work with my hardware & also mouse pointer motion is highly unstable for all linux distros that I tried. Infact the hardware which i purchased is fully linux compatible as per the vendor website but it is not fully true. With windows everything works right & even battery works better. I want to remain with linux & dont want to switch to windows but major issues like these always make people like me to force use windows where it works buttery smooth n flawless 😢.
