Amazing drumming. Just brilliant ❤. An album track that would have made a career for any band. And those vocals 😮

Am I the only one who would of loved The Beatles to have done a whole album with this lineup: John on Guitar Paul on Keys George on Bass Ringo on Drums Would of loved to seen what guitar parts John would of came up with, having to play all of the guitar on the album without George for a change. The rare occasions where John has played all the guitar parts or lead guitar on Beatles songs, they have always been so great. He is way better than people give him credit for. Also would of loved to seen what bass lines George would come up with. If he was this surprisingly good on bass, after barely even playing the damn thing, imagine what he could come up with if he spent the whole recording of an album playing and focusing on the instrument. No one can come close to Paul's bass playing but I'm sure we would of gotten some really great basslines out of George.

Don't love the bass line so much here. Sounds a bit off tempo at times. I prefer Paul's bass & George on lead.

А почему бы Маккартни не записать эту и другие песни не отдельными партиями и их наложением, сразу целиком, когда играют все музыканты свои партии , как симфонический оркестр одновременно

Everybody makes small mistakes but it never effected the main song's feel and vibe. Beatles always knew how their music should sound like. And they were never wrong.

One of the greatest vocal performances ever! IMHO

In the pictures of the recording of Abbey Road, John just looks so different and not his usual, silly self. Heroin, Yoko and wanting to get out more than ever. Once he did, he made two pretty good albums and then not so much. I guess you can't keep up the pace, no matter who you are. If only yoko never came into his life. I'm sure they would have stayed together for a little while longer, maybe not made as many albums as the pace they were on and put out their solo works.

The perfectionism of Paul with the Beatles put them in a league of their own.

The Beatles as a band at its best. All four doing their parts effectively made me want to repeat it whenever I hear it on my playlist. Had Paul composed the song in his post-Beatle years, I doubt that the record will come out as good as this. My favorite Pauls Beatle song are those when the other members were playing their parts.

These are the original master tapes, so what you hear is the song bleeding from their headphones into the mics. They started using headphones in 1966.

Exactly. He made up the drum riff and fills along the way. So when you listen to different takes, his fills are always different.

Ringo's sense of timing is so groovy, and the production quality is always next-level. I also love how he muted everything with towels. Classic tone.
