Yes, it is real wood and feels like it, but ...In our search for alternatives to the unsuitable oak and esh interiors, we have finaly decided on Alpi, an engineered wood that achieves better UV resistance (without yellowing or darkening of light woods) and is just as resistant to knocks and rotting as the familiar Sapele mahogany we have used for decades. We’ll continue to offer the beautiful Sapele on our yachts, but Alpi is a real wood that has been sliced, stained, and glued to create a uniform appearance or a distinctive grain pattern or colour. This offers you more creativity in your choice of wood variety, colour, and grain than we had offered before. Alpi also gives you the option of using exotic hardwoods that range from rich black Makassar Ebony to white Alberta Maple. Not only can the finish be the interior be the wood’s natural colour, but Alpi is available stained in many colours and tones - there is even a rainbow-stained option, but our craftsmen and women might not thank you for choosing it! Alpi has proven to be an excellent product - our craftsmen can shape and form it in the same way they work with the Sapele Mahogany. We’ll continue to use the same thickness of wood as before so you can rest assured, we’ll maintain our Sirius quality and finish regardless of the material you choose for your interior.

We offer three different options for the mainsheet. Our standard is a mainsheet attached to a mainsheet horse above the steering wheel. But if you want a mainsheet-free cockpit and a bimini that effectively covers the cockpit from the cabin to the stern, then we can offer you a targa arch steel-GRP-construction.

Yes, it was nearly no wind at all and so the movement of the boom a bit unpredictable. It’s easy - and advisable - to operate the halyards standing on the cockpit sole. The boom is 2m above it and the coachroof only 1,4m high…

😳 … never seen that this way around … but you are right. Since we started this deck saloon concept in 1988, multis have become very common 😉

​@@user-xl3es9mt6f Sure it is. The standard engine is a Volvo Penta D2-50 with 50 hp, but we can optionally install a Volvo D2-75 with 75 hp.
