Very good job, purple is my favorite color but not on furniture. The wood was crying HELP I heard it!!! lol The only thing missing is the huge mirror that was attached to this piece originally. I would be proud to own either piece for sure. Nice job and have a great day

Nice work---lovely chair. Love watching you and your furry friends! My only suggestion would be that since the red flower part of the fabric design is dominant, it may have looked better if that part of the design had been centered on the chair seat, rather than the non-dominant foliage part.

Glad you stayed with it. The wood sanded up beautifully. Give yourself a pat on the back. What a charming piece. It was made to last. Sure go to a Historical building to be used.

this turned out very very lovely, but it did not require near as much work or expertise required to make jay's just as lovey as yours. you guys tie at making it lovely but he wins hands down on expertise required..

I believe you are on the right track. I do not mind the music and definitely do not mind Daisy! I find your videos tone informative with a bit of who you are as a person mixed in. Great job on This writing bureau! Turned out elegant and classy!

I had a desk like this and painted it a soft pink.i used floral transfers on it and it turned out beautifully. The wood was ink stained inside and the paint took care of that.

You are not only brilliant, but a tough act to follow! I have learned so much from you. I have a floor model radio from the 40's that belonged to my grandmother that I would to have the talent to restore. I also have a cedar lined wardrobe and a vanity, with the original mirror attached, that belonged to my great grandmother's sister. She purchased them when she got married in the 1910's and then gave it to my mother when she got married in 1952. Those pieces frighten me the most. I really can't afford a pro, but...I'm gaining knowledge and courage from watching you. I also have a buffet and server which my mom bought circ 1966. I think they may be impossible to do well. All the best to you. Your work is truly appreciated!

Wow, that’s a lovely thing to say thank you. It sounds like you have a great stash of beautiful furniture and you can definitely transform them. The art is really to just take your time, use the right tools and materials for the job and enjoy it. Good luck in your restoration journey and thanks again for your kind words 😀😀

Awesome job, the finishing was amazing. I used to do some carpentry around the house, but I guess my knees got fed up of holding me all these years and decided to get a retirement as well. I also liked picking up the bits and pieces after the finishing and try to patch them up as well.
