It surprises me that so many people say this is an easy plant. I love them, but! I’ve bought 5 in 8 years and the only one alive is the one I bought 3 days ago! The latest is a Hawaiian spider. I am determined to fine one I can keep alive for a year! Lol. I’m pretty sure if it makes a year, I’m set. Thanks for the great videos. I’m pretty sure I’m an overwaterer. Hahaha

those coleus are f up to be honest , they arent getting enough light nor nutrients , people stop listening to all this people with half dead plants , coleus are meant to be BUSHES WITH LEAVES ALL OVER SO MANY THEY HIDE THE SUN FOR THE ONES BENEATH , not a tree.

Beutiful, nice job! If you take three like the first one you were holding and take them out of their pots and braid the long stems together, tying the stems with soft strings in three places and repot, you can get the same effect, except with a much thicker looking braided trunk. You can also use three different coleas with similar growth characteristics for a mixed tree.

Hi. I know this is an older video, but it just came up for me today (which I find funny that it is almost 2yrs to the day. Lol). I have a question about your hanging plants and watering. Do you take them down to water them? I noticed the drip trays on the bottom and was wondering as I think if I didn't take mine down to water, I would make such a mess. Also, I am in Newfoundland, Canada and we do have 4 true seasons, sometimes all in the one day. Lol.

You did not show the roots grow at the end. I didn't like it it was too long and you didn't show us what it can do in the water or soil🤔

Funny how some peoples syngonium apparently like to get mostly dry before watering and others don't. I tried the route of letting it get toward the dry side, like I do with my Pothos and Phils... but I will get brown edges on the syngoniums if I do that (and I didn't let it get all dried out). I have found that mine prefer evenly moist soil most of the time or they are just not happy.

If you want a much straighter trunk makes sure the support is right next to it otherwise you'll end up with a bended trunk, unless that's what you want.
@RoseTorn4112 жыл бұрын
I love coleus since they can handle full sun outside to a shaded area. Also when spring comes around I place mine outside in full sun and it's color changes plus it grows more vigorous. Then come mid fall I bring it back indoors. Plus they are super easy to water propagate!

I’d like to point out that the intro has clear/normal sound level and the volume on the rest of the video is extremely low so when I watch a string of your videos, I have to turn the video up a lot to hear you and then when the next intro comes on, it’s BLARING. This happens with all of the videos I watch from you. Love your content otherwise!
