I’m currently trying to spite-platinum FF7 Rebirth the same way I did Diablo 4. Awful mini games and side quests and overly challenging combat VR missions on Hard Mode. And yeah, the story’s biggest moment was a total Flop.

Going to GameStop used to be such an amazing experience. Midnight release events especially were a thing of beauty. I remember going with a friend for Mortal Kombat 9. Only buy physical now if it's either a steelbook or collectors edition which typically are exclusive to GAME. Other than that I just get everything else on steam

I do hope that the console boxes don't die out. While something like stream from any smart device could be handy, the question is, will those devices be able to keep up with the horsepower needed? I don't have the best phone, or the best smart TV, and I can't afford the $1000+ per year needed to get the newest model. $500 every 8-10 years for a console is much more realistic for someone like me.

Only in the first 5 mins but the whole 60 vs 30 debate comes down to me as more FPS is undoubtedly better, its a big reason i do play on PC. If i know a game is never coming to PC or a performance patch isn't going to be implemente, i will play it at 30fp, and i did play FF 16 at 30fps. But if there is an option, i will always play the version with the Higher FPS. It just happens PC usually allows for both Fidelity and the FPS, hence why its my primary platform these days despite PC having its own issues to deal with. Seeing Dragons Dogma 2 on ps5 in the flesh added another nail into that coffin 😂

My main issue against star field is I never wanted a thousand procedurally generated planets where I can’t walk the mountain I see in front of me without fast traveling back to my ship in orbit and spawning in another generated fishbowl and the mountain is now gone. I can walk up the mountain in Skyrim. I can’t in the thousand planets of star field. Quality over quantity is key here. I have thousands of hours of games in my backlog. I don’t want another few hundred hours of boring time wasters anymore. I don’t play live service games for the same reason. My time is too valuable for suicide squad or the canceled spider man live service.

Im in the Starfield boat of them promising monthly updates. So i stopped playing pretty early in and will go back to it once my backlog is down. Now it has Ultrawide Support, HDR and DLSS 3.0 im good to go 🤘
