If Rinoa is Ultimecia, why do they have different accent? Like in sentences, Ultimecia replaces the hard “c” with “k” like “kurse, lokusts, akross, kompression, krusade” while Rinoa’s spelling of words are correct.

One thing I Noticed, (And Never heard Mentioned) is Ultimecia pre-battle speech she says "SeeD" six times, once for each of her opponents, Including Rinoa. It looks like she is counting all the SeeD in the crowd before her and sees Rinoa as just another SeeD.

I think you are somewhat right, and maybe its also a bit of a draw. I was thinking you could also see it that she simply has achieved her goal to rule time when you go to her castle this is already in another time dimension or something, couldnt it simply be that this is what she is ruling. And because of the seed getting there she simply resets the loop because she will loose to the seed. But if she compresses time she keeps the loop going that causes squall to start the whole loop again causing her to be ruler of her own dimension the whole game until the point you reach her.

Ultimecia's must have had her power for a long tme because she grew black wings. You know how Adel's body was corrupted from containing the sorceress magic for too long.

There is always some higher power in these FF games. I really thought Kefka was corrupted because the Magic infused into him was becoming sentient through him becoming what he did in the final battle...

I don't think she's the winner. I think there was something incredibly dark and tragic hinted at during her dialogue at the later part during her final form. She wanted to know everything about the past, present and future. As she gained that knowledge she *also* gained the knowledge of how things were going to end up and that she had made a huge mistake she'd pay for forever. She realized she was going to lose. And she realized she was going to go around and around time forever. In other words, she was begging Squall: "Think... About your childhood..." (Please kill me before I reach her this time!) But Squall, the party and even the player can't understand. This is why Squall appears briefly to witness Ultimecia pass on the curse. Ultimecia used the last of her power to take Squall there on purpose to strike her down. So I interpreted her final line of "Can't... Die... Yet." as her horror at realizing this didn't work. It didn't work all the other times and it won't work now. The Sorceress of time will spend an eternity of doing time in time itself. It is a Jojo villain fate for her!

Hyne is present in FFIII also. It's probably the original one and the same mentioned in FFVIII. Look at FFIII overworld map and compare it to FFVIII overworld map. The Centra continent is almost the same.

I like this. It's not an unlikely theory either as it's pretty clear there's plenty of overlap in the Final Fantasy games. Even basic concepts like the Lifestream and chocobo's, so why not this either? It'd actually be really interesting to expand on it like that. Great video.

Supposed that's true if ultimecia is first rinoa in that timeline about squall died on space. Then the question is, why is they're going to space in the first place? The reason is rinoa was unconsciousness so squall take her into space to meet ellone and then finding out she was possessed by ultimecia. If it's true, then how ultimecia were existed in first place?

In Ultimecia's last form, you see her real body hanging from another form. My theory is that the other form is the original essence of Sorceress, Hein. Its such a mysterious entity, named throughout all of the game that it makes no sense to be forgotten. As ULtimecia gather the powers of all the Sorceress she becomes the true vessel of Hein, all its power finally joined in one place in time. So when it is defeated Hein just sends Ultimecia back in time again and again hoping that something will change... Elone may be part of Hein herself, being able to send cousciousness back in time, not being a Sorceress seems strange, it looks like a midpoint failsafe for her to able to control a huge extent of time. Jusy my 2 pennies here lol

Explaining literally anything about Jenova makes her so much less interesting… the whole point is she’s an unknowable eldritch horror from the cosmos. That’s the whole point of the genre we call Lovecraftian horror. Taking ANYTHING as “evidence” of where Jenova comes from is completely missing the point. Even professor Gast made an error classifying her as an Ancient. And when the smartest people in the game’s lore are making mistakes, that’s the game telling you it’s something beyond knowing. You’re not supposed to know what she is.

It also would showcase that gilgamesh despite not knowing which dimension he goes to isn't one not traversed. Though he may lose his evil self to ultimecia in the timeloop for a time, their are numerous ways to gain new found powers across the infinite that is final fantasy, some worlds like 15 and 12 wouldn't suit his needs but would still observe to learn their ways to better hone his already brilliant mind. While worlds like 6 and 7 peak his interests that spring new inspirations. Actually... in 13-3 with bhunevelza he holds those exact same characteristics as mateaus before being expunged from the creation of the new world. That may actually be where his his light hearted side went as a god of salvation

In the original Japanese version and certain translations , Ultimecia states that she is going to probe their minds and use their fears to destroy them. Hence Griever. There's no evidence that Griever is a real GF.
