An acid drop tutorial is next on my list of big vids I'm making. For now though please make due with this : With item in hand : jump, zdrop, waveland, repeat. I recommend you either practice on yoshi with no DI or marth with no DI to start.

It's extremely difficult and I will not tell anyone how they should or shouldn't play the game. I will say though that I believe its difficulty is worth the results and potential I've seen with my own eyes. There IS counterplay to it but this counterplay can be forced and controlled to turn the counterplay into an advantage. I'll go into this more when I release my acid drop tutorial video. I just want to make it clear, acid drop and zdrop are very complex techs to use in melee. They appear simple in concept but there are a lot of factors in play.
