Love fish! All sounds very tasty. I've given up on sw and feel so much less stressed. I've moved over to calorie counting and feel free (I know that may sound mad but I was turning down invites to anything that included food. Now I'm still getting my 5 a day bur I can also have a treat that's NOT a cereal bar) Thanks for showing all your fantastic food. You're looking fab, you must be so proud! 🎉

@@ScottishFoodieLassie I had it for the first time 3 weeks ago and was stunned by how delicious it was. My friends made it, and they said the sainsbury's one could have been more tender, and it wasnt so great quality even though I thought it excellent. So the next week they cook it from meat themselves and it was fifty times better, apparently cheaper and went further too, though they would defy you easy meal idea! Anyway, for your interest it was serve with chopped tomato and red onion in lime juice and tzakziki which is a mix of greek yoghurt and cucumber, and one time a baked potato and the next a flat bread, X

Am not sure if I noticed before but the new kitchen is stunning 😀You have also convince me to try some cream spinach. I like cheese and potato and spinach and cream, and love nutmeg so should like it. I think it is amazing how you manage to have gorgeous meals that would not be consider diet really. Diet one thinks lots of fruit and veg and no extra bits like dressing or sauce etc, but you have really great inclusion and bonus that it all works too, thanks for all the advice and ideas and info!

Hi, your kitchen is looking fab. I only pick up bits in Tesco. I much prefer m&s - when I can get there. Calorie counting seems to be working out well for you. Your Iooking great. I know the sw plan is fine unless you're eating out, then it turns into a bit of a nightmare! I'm still on sw plan, doing it just using my last set of books from 2015. I really enjoy your vlogs, I too used to go to S.W. but could not believe the calories in some of their recipes. The only thing I would like to comment on is I have found that these meals which say two portions when you weigh each item it is often a higher weight than what is stated on the packet and therefore more calories. Have also found that with slices of bread too. It can be quite an eye opener.

There is something good about just doing a week or part week of easy meals.... like you I love cooking but sometimes even I can't be bothered. I had a busy week last week exhausted and sore this week but 3 night out well worth it. It is to easy for me to slip into bad habit of missing meals ergo Breakfast will just do coffee, seldom do lunch and come Dinner to tired to cook so do a milky drink 🤦‍♀️ As I know that is a problem I always have chopped fruit and Greek Yogurt in fridge for Breakfast and to make me eat lunch homemade soup... Did a firey Butternut Squash for this week wow it has a kick. I put all that I need for a Dinner in a bag in freezer for days like this week so literally just lift a bag out and everything there not only tasty but quick to cook and no thought required..... I find the having to think what am I going to have a chore at times. Our fishmonger always inventive he has done this week naked fishcakes with a creamy herb filling.... basically no bread crumbs so that is on menu tonight with steamed veg bags.... Quick and easy. I will actually get to M&S, next week as have a appointment so will do a shop from them for treat nights. Take care 🥰💜x

Hi Dormouse, definitely! It has been quite liberating now having to buy it all, scan it, plan it and chop and cook it! I do look cooking but sometimes it is an extra stress or thing to do in your day that can leave you feeling a bit flat. I totally understand how you feel regards moving into bad habits, it then leaves you feeling a bit out of sync and so planning is vital. Having some food set aside like Greek yogurt and fruit and soup is definitely a great way to keep on track! The naked fish cakes sound fantastic! I hope you enjoyed them. Please let me know what you manage to pick up from M&S. I would strongly recommend the creamed spinach and creamy cabbage too. Both low in calories for what it is. I think the cabbage is 60kcal per half a tub and 145-150 for half a pack of spinach too. Yum yum! Thanks so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed my video ❤️

I'm sure it will look amazing when it's done. There is a terrific SW recipe for haggis. It's the spices that make it really taste haggis-like!
