That’s right, the US Army is the largest consumer of wool. I’d forgotten that fact. Thanks for these.

Consider the source -WSJ. They’re just trying to sell/make a buck. It’s all they’re about and all they have. They should stick to financial subjects but they won’t. Thousands of years going through winters and - surprise - most of us have chosen wool to wear. We don’t need a publication full of itself telling us that our own experience is wrong.

Thanks for “taking us along.” This was fun. I’ve only become familiar with the crimp, etc. because of some sheep shearing videos I’ve seen.

Loved this. Going to look them up online as we have a few family birthdays coming up. How wonderful to find a kit with NO plastic - YAY! Btw, I’ve been dragging my last 2 wax pencils around with me for decades.

Thank you so much for this, esp. that it’s in English. This is fantastic and so clearly explained. I’m not even a knitter (just a natural fabrics lover) and everything here had me drooling - it was all just beautiful. And what a great building to have it in too. Subscribe!

It's possibly just as well I wasn't there or I'd have spent a fortune buying decades worth of wool to knit. But, oh my! Et je comprends le français.

I hope this kind of festival will spread all over the French territory. I hadn’t heard of this. You also made me discover a few independent yarn shops which is always nice! Once Tour de Fleece is over I’ll have a good reason to spend some money on new yarn ❤🎉 thank you for the excellent video. Adrien

Great video! Thanks! We outdoors people gave up wool back in the 80’s as LLBean & other companies started pushing polyester, fleece, & cotton. It’s a shame. I’m glad wool is coming back. Polyester is terrible for our environment on many levels!

It IS - and every time I sit around a campfire I can't help but scan what other people are wearing and suggest they move away from the sparks...
