nice. i'm having a hoot and a half with an elmo 16-AL projector that wants to slice into my films and it's doing this to brand new leader. I replaced the original melted rollers with new ones, but i think melted roller residue is causing havoc to places I can't reach and i gotta send it to a pro. And yeah you gotta push down on it just like my 16mm version

Ive started repairing my family's old Hi8 tapes and all of them have sticky tape syndrome. Ive been using a fine needle type tool to unstick it as I go. It is such a grueling long process.

When i was in my teens like most other teens i used to chew the tape reel, or damage it.

Once flakes or bits of mould hits the reels of the tape. Thats damage, depending if there was video in the part where the tape reel was damaged, if the whole tape reel is in mould, sadly it may have caused too much damage that it will clog your video heads.

Thank you for your support and positive attitude! The key is to off what the The main competitors legacy box/imemories/etc.. are not offering. Completed work… fixing problems… I go through all the videos with all my customers before I charge them. I ask if they are happy and that’s what matters. Customer service. Fair prices for quality and quick turn around.

Had to watch it a few times. Just incase you tried to put it on upside down. Because it won't work that way. But they line up inside the reels, and you got to twist it on. Like grab the back and front and twist them until they click together.

28:38. The Sansui seems shot, but it looks like it has the same osd as a Memorex vcr of mine. That makes sense, as Orion, Sansui, & Memorex occasionally made VCRs for each other in the 90s.
